Looking at it, it is the one who shows the unerring path. They are like gold in stone, capable of compassion, and with the compassion of compassion, they seize the wonder. Thus it was said. From the Great King of Tantras, the Great Teaching on the Mind of Enlightenment Sutra: The Thirty-fourth Chapter, which teaches the unerring Mind of Enlightenment, is complete. Then, the assembled retinue there asked the Vajra of the Mind of Enlightenment thus: Great Bodhisattva, what is it that all dharmas are unattainable? The Vajra of the Mind of Enlightenment replied: All dharmas, such as the aggregates, are empty in nature and free from elaboration. Conditioned and unconditioned, and the dharmas of peace and non-peace, meditation, liberation, samadhi, absorption, and direct perception are spontaneously accomplished. Without characteristics, without wishes, without change, conceptualization, conditioned, unconditioned, naturally pacified. Gathering and not gathering, ceasing and not ceasing, the aggregates, direct realization, the nature of suchness itself. Unerring otherness, realms and sources, dependent arising, direct realization, unerring suchness itself. Inverted, obscured, and various existences, the nature of reality is naturally empty. Samadhi, absorption, direct perception, unerring path of bliss. Defiled and undefiled, worldly and transcendent. Non-dual nature spontaneously accomplished, therefore free from birth and death. Unequal, equal, conventional, ultimate, the supreme of bliss. Permanent and impermanent, happiness and suffering, naturally pacified. Self and no-self, false and not false, agent and non-agent, like an illusion. Arising and not arising, essence existing, essence not existing, death, transmigration, birth, unreal, like a mirage. Gathering and not gathering, spontaneously accomplished, free from all expression. Desire, hatred, delusion, pride, jealousy, anger, stinginess, darkness, laziness, all completely purified. Defiled and undefiled, empty and not empty, grasping at characteristics is delusion, therefore empty. Completely pure, as certain, all dharmas are pure realms. Immaculate, pure, Dharma realm jewel. Without distraction, the nature of the realm of wisdom. All unattainable, the nature of space, the meaning of peace and bliss. Even though a person dreams a dream, even if the nature of the dream is shown, there is no nature of the dream to be spoken of. Therefore, if the dream itself does not exist, how can the nature of the dream be shown? Likewise, the nature of reality.

Even when explained, there is no entity in the nature of reality. Just as a person sees an illusion, Even when explaining the nature of illusion, where is it in essence? Similarly, even when explaining profundity, the nature of profundity is free from reality. Just as a person with cataracts sees cataracts, even when explaining cataracts, there is no entity. Similarly, even when explaining the nature of the Dharmakaya, no entity is seen. Just as when seeing a mirage, what essence does that thing have? Similarly, it is difficult to truly realize the profound, free from conceptualization, and without object of focus. Just as the echo of a rock, the sound is heard but not seen. When my voice arises, that sound is heard. At that time, hearing the words explaining the profound nature of reality, one can obtain the dharma that is explained. When manifest explanation occurs, it is not that one possesses the nature of omniscience, but through hearing, it becomes the path. Although the nature of a bubble is emptiness, the nature of a bubble is invisible both internally and externally. How can the nature of explanation become visible? Similarly, even when explaining the profound nature of reality, the nature is invisible, and the dharma that is manifestly established does not approach. Even when explaining a water bubble, if the water bubble has no nature, where is the essence of the bubble? The dharma that is manifestly established is not close to arising. However, even if a person searches for the heartwood of a water tree, they cannot find it, yet its leaves are useful. Similarly, even though the nature of reality has no heartwood, explaining the nature of reality is also useful. Even if a person applies various terms to the empty sky, there is nothing to explain in the sky. Similarly, even if various terms are applied to the nature of reality, it is not completely established through explanation, nor are terms applied. Just as a shadow moves with the sun, two terms are applied, and even though the established dharma manifests, it does not approach, it merely appears. Similarly, the nature of reality enters into words that apply terms, but the dharma that is explained does not enter into the words of terms, but makes all dharmas appear. Just as when polishing a precious jewel, even though great light approaches, that light is not inside or outside. Similarly, even though the nature of reality approaches through the action of great light, that light does not approach being seen inside or outside. For example, when a lamp is lit with oil, its light does not stay for even a moment, but it illuminates, and through that light, various forms can also be seen.
