Because all things are bound by conceptualization, and purity is not seen, cultivating self-grasping diminishes the great jewel. Because of constantly having conceptualization, it is not true, and one cannot break through the shell of the egg of afflictions. By constantly having conceptualization, effort is fruitless. In emptiness, there is no place, nor any support, how can it exist, only known by the delusion of ignorance. Not seeing the truth, because wisdom is inverted, since wisdom has become inverted, then false views arise, driven by the cause of ignorance. Not seeing the meaning of true solitude, therefore the meaning of Nirvana completely collapses. The mind and mental factors are also like that. They are, by the coming and going of the alaya consciousness and conditions, appearing as the meaning of the three bodies. On the accumulation of the habits of the aggregates, both virtuous and non-virtuous habits are completely eliminated. When the power of any habituated action increases, the mind itself appears like the environment and body, as if filled with bones. By knowing all the arising of the world, it appears as delusion. Thus, by delusion, various habits are accumulated. The various habits are the eight consciousnesses. Because the object arises from the cause of accumulating habits, therefore the self conceived by the mind does not exist. Worldly children, due to the delusion of knowledge, grasp a rope as a snake. Seeing the rope is also a delusion of knowledge. In the habits, one knows happiness. Obscured by the power of formation, from subtle seeing arises the knowing consciousness. For example, in the scorching heat of midday in summer, a person, oppressed by the heat, sees mirages as streams of water. If one examines it, where is the water? Because the power of the continuous mind is not understood, following after conceptualization, false things arise. Not understanding the various appearances arising from the power of habits. From this, recognizing the nature of contaminated things, one makes the self and phenomena grow. The extremely subtle flow that arises together is not seen. Various non-Buddhist views such as seeing a self arise, and one thinks of it as liberation. The actions created by this mind are limitless, and the dwelling place also changes accordingly. Habits are endless, and there is no certainty. The conditions that increase and awaken habits are also various. Due to some conditions, some habits appear as the body of a person and lineage in a dream. When other conditions awaken other habits, one desires to become Ishvara (自在天) and so on, this is a wrong path.

That will not be pacified and liberated. Self possesses desire and hatred, and also appears to possess ignorance. If those actions are not abandoned, the basis of self will not be completely transcended. The path of yoga is corrupted, the cause of doubt, this subtle continuity arises without being realized. Obscured by clinging to self, that is completely separated from the lineage of the noble ones. Because of extreme unskillfulness in the life of clear knowledge, therefore the nature of reality is obscured, and that conceptual thought increases outwardly. The nature of all sentient beings is emptiness and purity, from the inauspicious wheel of grasping and being grasped, from the ignorance of conceptual thought, phenomena appear as purity, and bliss is the cause of the delusion of grasping and being grasped. Because of clinging to phenomena, various sufferings arise, and one transmigrates into the lower realms of existence. That consciousness also, because of clinging to the different characteristics of the cause of action, the lineages that appear as ornaments through the distinctions of karma are not many. The omniscient wisdom is free from grasping and being grasped, and in the state of multiplicity, with the conceptual thought of grasping and being grasped, the nirvana that resembles being separated from the lineage of the noble ones is completely nonexistent, thus spoke the Victorious One. The world possesses happiness, the truly peaceful nirvana, whoever is the supreme bliss, is completely deluded by seeing that many kinds of knowledge arise in various ways. With knowing and awareness, the category is one, and the lineage is not many. Because the mind arises with various kinds of multiple appearances. Therefore, that moment of mind exists in the body and the dharmakaya. Before and after, now all the phenomena of mind are one. Therefore Thinking in the mind, the subsequent one arises, and appears in that. Without abandoning things, how can one see suchness? The basis of pure liberation, the aspect of mind arises here. From the continuum of one's own mind, the superior being, the dharma does not exist elsewhere. Thus, all the virtuous and non-virtuous, and unspecified phenomena, those are all aspects of the mind. The lineages of the six realms are various, and within that, those six realms are also the same. Wherever in the ten directions, mind is not a thing, therefore, that mind-stream has no direction at all, and is without reliance. Therefore, because there is no direction, the infinite realms are my body. My body appears as the infinite realms and the body of birth, mind and habitual tendencies are not different, not one, and are extremely difficult to examine. Because it appears here, therefore it relies.
