If arranging the blazing handprint mandala, in the center use a seamless golden cup, connected with a great conch shell. In the east, use a crystal cup with vertical lines, connected with a bright treasure hair. In the south, use a jeweled cup with many lines, connected with flourishing jeweled leaves. In the west, use a crescent-shaped Chinese cup, connected with two protruding facial jewel marks. In the north, use a rhinoceros horn cup in the shape of a cross, adorned with four protruding jewels on the crown. The five roots are connected to each direction respectively. The main deities of the five gates are connected to their respective families. From the center to the east, south, west, and north, connect cardamom and Duruṣka, nutmeg, saffron, and fragrant Katrīśin, and white tongue grass in order. Similarly, according to the above order, connect arura and camphor, saffron, lotus, Līga, and musk, as well as Dena, Lhasa, and Yāna. All of these should be connected in accordance with their respective families, colors, and activities. The five seeds are connected in order.
