That secret empowerment Vajrasattva, to the teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, what are the confusions of ultimate truth, what are the confusions of conventional truth, what are the confusions of illusion, what are the confusions of perversion? The teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, to the secret empowerment Vajrasattva of gathering, although there is no confusion in the words of ultimate truth, it is called confusion because of attachment and clinging. When the nature of reality abides in emptiness, it is called confusion if emptiness is grasped as emptiness. Emptiness is also liberated by emptiness. For example, if one is attached to and clings to the bliss of the first dhyana, that is also a confusion. The appearance of confusion in conventional truth is the confusion based on the eight consciousnesses, and the confusion based on the five senses and five objects. Even if one does good, it is in the state of confusion of afflictions. Even if one does evil, it is the reality of confusion of afflictions. Even if one remains in one's own state, it is still the appearance of confusion. The appearance of confusion in illusion is like the eight examples of illusion that exist: like the reflection of the moon in water. It is also grasped as an appearance of reality. The eight examples of illusion that do not exist are like seeing water in a mirage where there is no water. The illusion of emanations, the illusion of illusions, and all the illusions of mirages are all confusions of illusion. The confusion of perversion is like the happiness and suffering in dreams. When one is awake, there is no inherent nature, but one makes it a supreme meaning, and the habit of perversion arises. Because one is tainted by that habit, it is a confusion of perversion. If dualistic grasping arises in the outer and inner vehicles, it is also a confusion. From the Great Tantra of the Abundant Jewel, the twenty-third chapter, which teaches the types of confusion, is complete. That secret empowerment Vajrasattva, to the teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, from the Dharmakaya, self-born, inseparable, and one, the eternalism of external heretics is the cause of confusion, and the similarity of the conditions that give rise to it, the view that understands it in that way, and the practice that arises from it, and the result that arises from it, what is that confusion like? The teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, to the secret empowerment Vajrasattva of gathering, because the Dharmakaya is empty and its nature is unchanging, those who do not see emptiness

Through observing changing things, clinging to the unchanging as the permanent "self." Furthermore, it is also seen that the external vessel world of earth, water, fire, and wind arises from this. Also, all such as form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, it is also seen that the inner essence arises from this. Because everything arises from this, it is seen as the "self" of the creator. Because it abides without change, it is clung to as the sole permanence. The continuum itself is seen as the "self" of the doer. Due to clinging and attachment to the habits of what is seen, the nature of the "self" that produces the fruit is white, shining, oily, and round. It dwells in the palace of Citta When large, it is like a thumb; when small, it is like a mustard seed. All inner awareness arises from this. All external objects also arise from this. Because everything arises from this and is created by this, it is the nature of the permanent and the doer. It is realized that the self is the permanent doer. Meditating on such a stable realization is practice. By offering life and all that is enjoyed, the powerful or the one with power (藏文:དབང་ཕྱུག,梵文天城体:ईश्वर,梵文罗马拟音:īśvara,汉语字面意思:lord) is pleased, and even if one dies, one obtains the result from this. The cause, condition, and similarity are caused by seeing the unchanging as the "self." From the Great Extensive Jewel Heap Sutra, the twenty-fourth chapter on the erroneous views of eternalists. The one who gathers the secret empowerment, Vajrasattva, to the teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, what are the cause and similarity of the nihilistic error of the heretics, and the view, meditation, conduct, and result of realization? The teacher of teachers, Samantabhadra, to the one who gathers the secret empowerment, Vajrasattva, since the body itself is emptiness and the power itself is unceasing, from seeing the limbs of the power as empty, because the power and emptiness are not realized as inseparable, therefore, because the power itself is severed into categories and seen as empty, this is the cause of the nihilistic error of the heretics. The power itself is seen as empty, thus creating the similarity of the error. The heretics' idea that there is nothing, and the appearance of power that there is nothing, these two, through the gathering of similar, homogeneous, and identical things, the heretics think that there is nothing, thus creating the similarity. By seeing that there is nothing inside and outside, and that there is no union of parents and relatives, and that there is no cause and effect, one realizes that there is nothing. Saying that there is nothing, then meditating that there is nothing. Because the mind has no inside or outside, the body is also the mind.
