The practice of midday yoga leads to the continuous attainment of wisdom. Samantabhadra, the teacher of teachers, bestows the secret empowerment of the gathering, Vajrasattva. The practice of midday yoga is performed during the time of equipoise. The six aggregates are placed in the expanse of the sky. All consciousnesses that rely on the five senses are not engaged with objects but are placed in a state of empty stillness. If there is dullness, the clarity of consciousness is praised. If there is agitation, the expanse of dharmata is cultivated. This is non-conceptual samadhi. If these are not clear, then the appearances that arise from subsequent attainment appear like the eight examples of illusion. Clear yet empty, they appear like a rainbow. Appearing yet non-existent, like a moon in water. Arising without a basis, like a mirage. Non-existent upon examination, like a magic trick. Being yet not being, like a reflection. Appearing without substance, like an emanation. Devoid of meaning, like an echo. Self-existing, self-appearing, like a dream. All phenomena appear in this way, without attachment, without clinging, without joy or indifference. Without distraction at midday, if there is agitation, abide in the state of equipoise. If there is dullness, abide in the state of subsequent attainment. The dharmakaya wisdom continuously arises. The practice of evening yoga is the mixing of meditation with sleep. Having settled into the state of dharmata, from that, even in sleep, the dharmakaya is realized. If the conceptual thoughts of sleep do not arise, it is the samadhi of the mother of dharmata. When the conceptual thoughts of sleep arise, sleep like a bird. Repeatedly divide into sessions. Repeatedly mix sleep and meditation. When the continuity of that is attained, By placing awareness in the mother, if habitual dream-like imprints do not arise, because wisdom awareness is unborn, the dharmakaya abides in the state of dharmata, and a profound, clear, great wisdom arises. When stability in that is attained, it arises in the same way even upon awakening. By relying on dreams, appearances appear as subsequent attainment. In the practice of midnight yoga, because wisdom's own nature is unwavering, that indivisible dharmakaya, self-arisen wisdom, is clear within oneself. If dreams arise, then meditate on samadhi like an illusion. When dreams are known as dreams, there is no happiness or suffering in dreams. By attaining stability in that, by relying on dreams, body and wisdom become exceedingly clear, and the samadhi of courageous activity is attained. All dreams are continuous.
