Explain starting from the perspective of "is". With the reasoning of the three valid cognitions (perception, inference, and scripture). Explain by combining with the Kalachakra. Like an eagle swooping down on its prey. Explain by cutting through confusion and obscurations. Thus it is said. From the Secret General Tantra, the fifth chapter on the method of explanation. Then, Vajrasattva asked the Great Secret Lord: How is the true nature? The Great Secret Lord said: The teacher's mind itself is the Great Perfection, Because it is originally non-dual and equal, One cannot be divided into two. The reason for not being able to divide is: There is no one, no elaboration. Abandoning, negating, taming, and progressing, The objects of grasping, the act of grasping, the things to be taken and rejected, View, conduct, effort, and accomplishment are all non-existent, Without being altered by paths and antidotes, In the nature of equal Bodhicitta, This meaning that I have taught is, It is the great teaching of the Bodhisattva. The unmoving bindu is equality itself, Name, meaning, metaphor, and, Nature, characteristics, and the way of eliminating. Because Buddha and sentient beings are non-dual, There is no taking or rejecting in the mind. In the Great Perfection of mind itself, Because everything is spontaneously accomplished, Because happiness and suffering have the same cause, If one realizes the essence of the mind, Bodhicitta, Time has no before or after, it is one. This is it, this is not it, naturally there is nothing. Because the mind has no object to grasp, There is nothing to meditate on in meaning, Therefore, there is no fixed view. This essence of mind, Bodhicitta, Transcends the realm of samadhi and thought, It abides in an inexpressible state. Such is the essence of mind, Bodhicitta, Because it has become the essence of the teachings, It is praised by all the Buddhas. There is no agent, no action, no effort, no accomplishment, It abides as it is in the expanse of great bliss. Truly desiring such a thing. Vajrasattva, you are mistaken. Now, wanting to proclaim such a view, You are afflicted by the disease of attachment to meditation. If the words of the teacher's teachings, Are seen as the path and entered into, It is entering a mistaken path, chasing after a mirage. The true path is this, It cannot be expressed by words and letters, Naturally unmoving, free from change. In the palace of the nature of Dharma, It abides in the nature of a lifeless teacher, Surrounded by the nature of the retinue of nature, Silently proclaiming the ocean of teachings, Establishing nature in the unconditioned Dharma, The king of equality is naturally attained.

Ba. From the beginning, freedom from the illness of effort and striving; having finished, freedom from the illness of effort. Abiding naturally in its own state, spontaneously present; uncorrected, unmade, abiding in its own way. Equality, the essence, the basis of all. Essence is free from things. Cannot be grasped as being like this or that. In the essence of equality as it is, the five colors of light are distinctly clear. From the arising of the five branches of radiant energy, appearances arise in sequence. From that, various doorways open up. Not made by anyone, it arises spontaneously. Various habits and deluded thoughts are born. In this very self-appearance of wisdom, it dawns spontaneously, without searching or meditating. Thus it is said. From the Secret General Tantra, the sixth chapter, which teaches the abiding nature. Then, Vajrasattva asked the Great Secret Lord: Since the abiding nature abides in that way, how does the Great Secret Lord realize it? Is there a way for us and others to realize it or not? Thus he asked. The Great Secret Lord said: From the beginning, self-existing from its own nature, because the appearance of the five lights arises by itself, the wind that elevates wisdom into space, the essence of luminous mind arises as its nature. Not dependent on others, it arises spontaneously. The king of self-sovereign wisdom arises. Enjoying bliss in all realms without exception, the wisdom of knowing arises as its own nature. The thought of devotion knows the supreme, showing the desired fruits separately. The doors of qualities are inconceivable, showing methods according to what each can tame. For each difference in faculties, the doors of the vehicles are also shown separately. The fruits of the five bodies are obtained separately. The great Dharma of the Buddhas of the three times, because it is incomparable, is free from objects of focus. Because there is no object to grasp, there is no clinging mind. The wisdom of emptiness, free from clinging, the desired fruits arise spontaneously. The eighty thousand doors are also opened separately, gathered into the nature of the uncorrected mind. Bodhicitta is the basis of all, it is none other than the Buddha himself. Not grasping to one side, without bias, there is no clinging to the side of desire. The wisdom without clarity or obscurity is clear like the disc of the sun. Without inside or outside, the form of Manjushri, from which that wonderful ornament arises. The light body without bias, without front or back, is spread out openly. From the state of clarity, jewels arise, the supreme source of the fruits of desire. Spontaneously accomplished like the wish-fulfilling tree, not a Dharma that arises from others. In the center of the five appearances.
