Then, the teacher, the Great Lord of Secrets, specifically spoke this verse: In the state where nothing is accomplished, there is no accomplishment of the name's expression. From the nature of the three appearances, it arises as the essence of the three teachers. In the field of those to be tamed, it appears separately, with the order of body, speech, and mind, each with its own desires appearing separately. With the appearance of no letters, with the words of speech, the desired fruits appear separately. Sentient beings dwelling in the three realms, because there is no way to cut off causes and wrong paths, wander in the six realms of samsara. Because of ignorance, incomprehension, and unknowing, they experience various sufferings for a long time. Thus he spoke. By the power of speaking thus, among the retinue, Vajrasattva asked the teacher the meaning of what was said: How do we and the retinue understand the nature of the teacher? How are all sentient beings of the six realms confused from the beginning without understanding? Is there a way to be liberated from this? He asked. The Great Lord of Secrets replied: The spontaneously accomplished body of equal nature, the wind that rises in the sky of wisdom, the self-luminous jewel-like container, the unobstructed radiance and energy appear separately. The way of understanding appears as seven aspects. The ultimate result of self-nature appearance and those to be tamed is with three fruits. The essence arises from the mind, free from all movements of memory and thought. Bliss is self-appearing, without a mind of grasping. The unsurpassed supreme of all vehicles, if all faculties and conditions do not appear, then there is no grasping, no appearance, and separation from conditions. Like a mother, without fabrication or adulteration, clear if there is no desire, without defilement or delusion, the self-nature of wisdom is naturally blissful. The essence of the three teachers, for all Buddhas of the three times, there is no intention beyond this. Again he asked: If the teacher's intention is like this, then" }, { "original_tibetan": "དྲུག་མོས་པ་དྲང་བའི་ཐབས། །ཀུན་མཁྱེན་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་གསུ", "chinese_translation": "引导六道众生之意乐之方便,请全知者您宣说。", "english_translation": "the means to guide the inclinations of the six realms, please, omniscient one, speak." } ] ============================================================

I beseech you! When thus beseeched, the great Lord of Secrets spoke: All sentient beings of the six realms, From beginningless time, the meaning has not been clear, Wavering awareness arises separately, Upon that, attachment and clinging mind, Seeks, decides, and establishes everything, Clinging increases, suffering is experienced separately, The means to escape from that suffering, With the union of vessel and essence, through the essential instructions, Is taught as a means to liberate that meaning, Cutting off delusion from the root, Applying the essential instructions to the key point, Indicating the object to be represented through examples, Explaining the distinction in two ways, Grasping the five bodies with recognition, Explaining the difference between symbols and meanings, Through the order of explaining one's own continuum, And the distinction of the order of debates, Combining the essential instructions with the meaning, Explaining the order of teaching, Through the order of explaining the oral transmission, It is taught as a means to attain that very nature, The difference between necessity and connection, The greatness of the qualities of the continuum, And the greatness of the distinctive names. Realization without desire or aversion, And since nothing whatsoever exists, The self-nature of wisdom has no clarity or obscurity, Free from the deluded mind that relies on conditions, The delusion of body and speech is naturally pacified, No thought arises towards the phenomena of cause, The mind does not stray from the Great Vehicle, Through realization, actions are naturally abandoned, Free from thoughts of virtue and vice. The essence has no establishment whatsoever, Emptiness, wisdom itself, is the essence, The very nature without fabrication, Without wavering, without grasping, free from conceptualization, The very nature free from the two extremes of appearance and emptiness, There is no experience or awareness of delusion, Immutable, free from conditions. Buddhas and sentient beings are of equal nature, The great expanse without beginning or end, The characteristic awareness is inconceivable, The body also abides in the same way, Each according to their own desires Are deluded, Abiding like a stream of water, That is thoroughly cut off and established, The basis of all is without distinction, One continuum complete with cessation. Without before or after, one in the realm of reality, Unfabricated essence, the basis of all, The great treasury of precious jewels, Not arising from cause, free from conditions, Such is the mind of enlightenment, which cannot be shown, Without wavering, no thought arises, In the state of emptiness, there is no calculation, Like the sky, without beginning or end, Abiding in its own essence, Like the sun and moon, without clarity or obscurity, Free from partiality, the pinnacle of all vehicles, All
