The Clear Vajra Garland Tantra. In the experience of knowing appearances as they are, all four elements arise from the nature of space. All elements exist in space. Pure space, in outer awareness, is known as mind. All five poisons arise from one's own mind. All five poisons exist in the nature of mind. Pure mind, in inner awareness, is known as mind. All appearances arise from the path of the five bodies. The path of the five gates gathers at the heart channels of the body. Pure channels, in the awareness between the gates, are known as mind. Thus, outer, inner, and secret are known as one. Appearances, awareness, and mind are understood as inseparable and one. The delusion of non-understanding grasps mind as three. Outer appearances, the inner grasping mind. The intermediate body is deluded by viewing it as five gates. Although divided into three by the discrimination of delusion, the nature of mind is one, without any other obstruction. From the inseparable blending of outer, inner, and secret, awareness is named the Vajra Garland. Its essence is dharmata, but it is manifest. Through clarity, the manifestation of dharmata is realized. Its meaning is to view without distraction. To view reality as it is. If one sees reality as it is, one is liberated. The signs and measures of its certainty are: as actual signs, in body, speech, and mind, aversion arises that is seen by oneself and others. Abandoning the body and activities of this life. Speech does not speak, becoming like a mute. The mind becomes weary of the things of samsara. Remembering the lama, compassion arises for beings. Believing in cause and effect, abandoning evil and practicing virtue. The experience of realization, the body becomes light. The breath of speech, one does not remember moving. In the mind, all that is seen, heard, remembered, and known. This is the meaning of one's own mind being like space. Thinking that it is a sign of one's own knowing, appearances, mind, and dharmata are the measure of reaching meaning. The view of seeing is the meaning of self-knowing manifest awareness. The indivisibility of space and awareness is clear in the realm of space. In this, appearances do not cease, it is the measure of seeing appearances. The sign of knowing is that all appearances and existence are known in one's own mind, and the nature of mind, because it is knowing and clear, is realized as being like space. Even in dreams, if one can hold on, if one can grasp it, appearances are established in the mind, in seven years, the body of the five aggregates, without remaining appearances, attains buddhahood. If one cannot grasp it in dreams, but only knows it in the mind, in the first bardo, one will be liberated. Transforming into meaning.

If there is no error, then it reaches the limit. If appearances are subdued, then it is a manifestation body. Mind, discernment, Buddha, everyone, manifest, Emaho! Since all appearances are one's own mind, if an inferior person is not liberated by the key point, then explaining the instructions in words is because the true nature of things is not seen. If appearances are not understood as mind, one goes astray in samsara. If one does not realize one's own mind as Buddha, then nirvana is obscured. In samsara and nirvana, with awareness and unawareness, there is only a moment's difference. Mistaking one's own mind as something else is delusion. If that delusion is not recognized as mind, then the meaning of dharmata will never be realized. With mistaken views, the source of mind is stirred up. Self-born, self-arisen, look at yourself with yourself. Where do these appearances first come from? Where do they abide in the middle, and where do they go in the end? Looking, it is like a crow on a ship, flying from the ship and returning to the ship. Appearances arise from the mind and are liberated in the mind. This mind itself, all-knowing, all-perceiving, and stainless, is like the clear and empty sky from the beginning. The self-born wisdom is manifestly clear. If you reach the ultimate, that is dharmata. Do not be distracted, stay in that state. Look at the play of appearances in the mind. Looking but not seeing, placing but not resting, the dharmata like the sky naturally manifests itself. If you do not realize it in this way, mistaken appearances arise. For example, in a dream when a person is asleep, men, women, happiness, suffering, and enjoyment appear. When awakened, one knows that it is one's own mind. Likewise, all appearances and sentient beings appear as delusions like dreams of one's own mind. Even if they appear, there are no appearances apart from the mind. In reality, it is like a dream, but it is seen as real even though it is not. For example, in the dim light, a rope is seen as a snake. Just seeing it causes fear and fainting. If examined and analyzed, it is known to be dim light and a rope. Fearing the mind with the mind is a delusional mind. For example, due to eye diseases caused by wind, bile, and phlegm, tangled hairs appear in the empty space. Not realizing one's own mind, one is controlled by afflictions and karma. The suffering of the three realms, the environment and beings, and the six types of beings, various negative thoughts arise in impure appearances. Even if they appear, there is no establishment apart from the mind. Holding the mind as evil with the mind. For example, due to wind, sunlight, and rain, rainbows appear in the empty space.
