The wrathful one by the power of the vow, although his nature is without wrath, has vowed to subdue wrongdoers. In the past, in the presence of glorious ones, he vowed to slay Rudra, and in accordance with that, he is also wrathful. He adapts to the circumstances and times, and there is no fixed posture for him. The wrathful one who is like an emanation appears as a wrathful form from a peaceful state. He transforms according to what needs to be tamed, and engages in various activities. The wrathful one by the force of transformation is endowed with many postures and attitudes, and various playful postures. He shows roughness and turmoil with violent force. If even the wisdom deity causes fear, what need is there to mention those who have degenerated? He causes all to faint and become rigid. This is praise for the wrathful one from the beginning. The one who possesses the complete wrathful posture is endowed with the nine moods of dance. With many heads and limbs, he performs activities and carries out actions separately. Thus, in whatever wrathful aspect, he is strong in body and has coarse limbs. His teeth and fangs are extremely sharp. His mouth is open, his eyes are wide, and his brow is furrowed in anger. His eyebrows and beard blaze like fire. The nails of his hands and feet are hooked like iron hooks. His hair and body hair bristle like weapons. He is adorned with the signs of a hero, the ornaments of the charnel ground, and various silks and jewels. He stands tall in the midst of blazing flames. Many emanations radiate from his body. There are also five types of peacefulness: peacefulness from the beginning, temporary peacefulness, peacefulness for the sake of taming beings, peacefulness through transformation, and peacefulness through manifest excellence. Among these, peacefulness from the beginning is the space of primordial non-arising. Compassion shines universally like the sun. Without attachment, afflictions are naturally destroyed. There are no fixed ornaments or postures.

Taming wrongdoings with the power of loving-kindness. Showing accordance with all near-peacefulness. The manifestly exalted peacefulness is: Possessing the reins of the four immeasurables. Vastly spreading equally to all. Without weariness or fatigue. All of these adornments and ornaments are: Soft and supple silk headbands, upper garments and lower wraps with rainbow silk patterns.
