Unites into one. Shows many to ignorance. Because of many, the Suchness is not realized. Space is one, not many. If many, seeing new holes is inferior. Not realizing space is just like that. The Sugata-essence pervades all. There are no sentient beings without a cause. On the body and mind of humans who have obtained the conditions, Resides the body, speech, and mind of the Victorious Ones, That Dharma-nature, like space, Without partiality, is the realm of all. The light of awareness, like the sun, See, experience like the sun. Without inside or outside, it is equality itself. For the sake of this Great Vehicle's meaning, A human body with the Buddha's intention, Although spontaneously accomplished and completely perfected, Appears as two due to other-powered conditions. Imputed phenomena are considered adventitious illusions. With the appearance of alchemical substances, Like iron being turned into gold, Having abandoned the impure, obscuring body, It transforms into the stainless body of the Victorious Ones. The sunlight of compassion spreads in all ten directions. Dispels the masses of ignorance's darkness. The light of wisdom is completely clear everywhere. It is obtained by practicing the true Dharma. Having become accomplished, If effort is not exerted in this, Actions are meaningless, the cause of suffering. Conditioned things are impermanent, having the nature of decay. Years, months, days, and numbers are impermanent, Driven by time, they go further and further away. Not staying for an instant, death comes quickly. As soon as time passes and things arise, Even friends will disappear. Even non-friends will disappear. External dwellings will also disappear, Internal substances will also disappear. Likewise, I too will disappear, At the time of impermanent death, What benefit is there from worldly dharmas, For which one has toiled arduously for a long time? Therefore, generate effort to seek the Dharma. What is the use of living without the Dharma? Therefore, I take refuge In the protector of beings, who dispels all fears. The Dharma that is understood in his mind, The nature of Bodhicitta enters into oneself. Having obtained a human body without the Dharma, It is like going to a golden island and returning empty-handed. Since one does not take from the vicinity of the human body, It is impossible to attain enlightenment after death. Those who waste such a human body, Should grasp the essence from the meaningless. Are you not deceived by embellishment and pretense? The world is impermanent, like an illusion. Deceiving oneself is the cause of lower realms. Holding falsehood as truth is ignorance. The ignorant fool will transmigrate into an animal. Coarse thoughts, great attachment and aversion.

Loving to kill and fierce to the bloody, That red great Yama of karma, Is the hell's executioner arriving. Not satisfied with what one has, craving for what one doesn't have, That miserly rich person craves with avarice, In the realm of pretas, there is no before or after. Constantly revolving in the realm of suffering, Like a river flowing down without reversing. Likewise, from the suffering of the evil realms, How could there be a possibility of liberation? Unless it is a temporary impropriety. There is no happiness for the samsaric one, The happiness of samsara is suffering. A fool finds poisonous food delicious, Delights in creating the suffering of samsara. Although wanting to obtain the happiness of desire, What is created is only suffering. Slightly indulging in the waves of suffering, The fruit of samsara is accomplished at that time. Like a worm in filth, Attachment to happiness results in suffering. Apart from the suffering of the common five aggregates, The specific suffering of karma is: The gods have the suffering of death and transference, The suffering of Avici hell is great. The Asuras fight due to attachment and hatred, Dying from their own hearts splitting, Humans have endless pain due to accidental causes and conditions, Animals, in the darkness of ignorance, Have the fear of devouring each other, Pretas see enemies when they see food, There is the suffering of being tormented by jailers, Hell is not always at the wrong time, All suffering is unbearable. When the ripening of karma is not exhausted, The life of hell has no end. Karma is done under the control of afflictions, Afflictions and ignorance are all delusions, Except for the one bodhicitta, It revolves constantly without end. I have not seen an end to it. Sentient beings with wrong views have enduring hearts, The human body is the fortress of liberation. If one has it now, one will always have it. Therefore, if one can strive with reverence and effort, One can stay away from the person of much learning. Revere the virtuous friend like a crown, With a heart of compassion towards beings, Without regard for one's own life, Quickly seek the great vehicle of the true Dharma. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, For the sake of seeking the supreme Dharma, Because of not disobeying the teacher's teachings, From the determination to give up life, With a fearless mind, Driving a thousand iron nails into the body, Lighting a thousand butter lamps on the flesh, Cutting flesh, breaking bones, Smearing with blood, Desiring the Dharma, performing difficult offerings, Even if suffering comes, one can endure it, From a heart without regret
