Without arrogance or pride, the birth of Asuras is completely severed. There is no strife or suffering. In the purity of desire, in great bliss, the birth in the realm of gods is completely severed. There is not even the name of the suffering of distraction. By realizing the true meaning of selflessness and impartiality, the cycle of the six realms is completely severed. Thus it is said. From the Precious Golden Sun Tantra, the thirteenth chapter, which is the chapter on completely severing the cycle of the six realms, is complete. Then, the naturally pure young boy asked the teacher of the meaning of unbornness: How do sentient beings become Buddhas? The teacher addressed the assembly: As mentioned above, when the root of birth and death is severed and transformed into the expanse [of reality], it is said that sentient beings are Buddhas. The reason for this is that the unchanging nature is the Buddha, the unceasing essence, the clear radiance is the Buddha, compassion without focus, self-liberation is the Buddha, the Buddha who has manifestly accomplished qualities, the vehicle without a Buddha for activity is the Buddha, sentient beings' natural purity is the Buddha, the self-destruction of the three poisons is the three bodies, the self-purification of the five poisons is the five bodies, the self-purification of afflictions is dharmata, the self-purification of thoughts is wisdom, ignorance is primordially pure clear light, the exhaustion of thoughts is wisdom, therefore sentient beings are Buddhas. If one realizes this, then it is taught that one realizes all dharmas. Why? Because by realizing the one root of all dharmas, everything is gathered under its power. Mastering dharmas, one knows all dharmas. Primordial great mastery is completely perfected. Thus it is said. From the Precious Golden Sun Tantra, the tantra of primordially pure ignorance, the fourteenth chapter, which is the chapter on sentient beings being Buddhas and realizing that is taught as realizing all dharmas, is complete. Then, the pure young boy asked the teacher of the meaning of unbornness: How is there no view or meditation of a vehicle? After asking this, the teacher addressed the assembly: If one realizes the meaning of complete and unsurpassed, then because of the vast and boundless complete liberation, there is no partiality or clinging to it. Therefore, there is no view or meditation of a vehicle. How is it that there is none? Realizing the view that is decisive and free from partiality, view and meditation beyond mind are naturally absent. Because clear light flows in the expanse of dharmata, grasping, thoughts, contemplation, and meditation are naturally absent. Because of abiding naturally in actionlessness and effortlessness, there is no action, effort, striving, or conduct. Primordially abiding, realizing the meaning
