The Teacher spoke to the assembly: "View, meditation, conduct, and result are diligent practices. One cannot attain Buddhahood through diligent practices. Therefore, if you wish to realize the nameless, Great! Vast! Knowing? Pure? Non-existent? Empty? Expansive? Liberated? Transcended? Delivered? Not seeing is the view, because it is liberated from boundaries; not meditating is the meditation, because it is deep and boundless; not acting is the conduct, because it is offering to all sides; not practicing is the result, because it is found from oneself. Therefore, the view without view, the meditation without meditation, is the most supreme. Without reliance, without scriptures, without direction, beyond words. Established by conceptual thought, there is no seer or seen. Without thought, without object, without concept, without movement, there is no meditation of grasping the mind, sinking, and dullness. Without action, without entrustment, without attachment, without clinging, there is no deliberate effort, no futile diligent practice. Without hope, abiding in one's own place, the three bodies spontaneously accomplished, there is no Buddha of hope, doubt, diligent practice, and desire. The view without view, the meditation without meditation, is great. One cannot realize through hope, attachment, and diligent practice." Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Sun, Moon, Sky King, Boundless and Infinite. This is the sixteenth chapter, "Showing the realization of the nameless and infinite without view, meditation, conduct, and result." Then, the All-Creating Self-Liberated One asked the Teacher: "If the meaning of boundless and infinite is realized, will there be straying or confusion?" The Teacher spoke to the assembly: "If the meaning of the boundless is realized, there will be no straying, obscuration, or confusion." Thus he spoke. Then, the assembly asked the Teacher: "If one realizes, there is no straying, obscuration, or confusion, but for sentient beings who do not realize in this way, is there straying, obscuration, or confusion?" The Teacher spoke to the assembly: "If one realizes the nameless, there is no straying or obscuration, but for sentient beings who do not realize in this way, there are three types of straying, obscuration, and confusion. Not realizing the unborn and nameless is straying. Not realizing primordial purity is obscuration. Wandering in the six realms is confusion. In summary, there is nothing beyond this, but if divided, it is said to be beyond thought. Because it is extensively explained elsewhere, it is not explained in detail here." Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Sky King, Boundless and Infinite. This is the chapter, "Although there is no straying or obscuration upon realization, showing the three types of straying, obscuration, and confusion for those who do not realize."

The seventeenth (chapter). Then, Kunje Rangdrol (All-Accomplishing Self-Liberation) asked the teacher of the nameless general essence: "How is the nameless superior to things with names?" The teacher instructed the assembly: "If realized, there is no error or obscuration, but for those who have not realized it, there are two thousand five hundred errors and obscurations, all of which can be discerned under one word. Not realizing the unborn is an error; realizing the essence of the nameless eliminates error. Not realizing primordial purity is an obscuration; realizing the unborn, primordial purity eliminates obscuration. The arising of the six realms is a delusion; not being born and not taking birth eliminates delusion. In short, know these three. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in view. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in samaya. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in activity. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in the ground. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in subtlety. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in wisdom. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in the continuum. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in scripture. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in pith instructions. There are three types of errors, obscurations, and delusions in the path. Each vehicle has ten, totaling ten sets. From these divisions, there are two thousand five hundred. Thus it was said. The definition of 'error and obscuration' is: entering a lower vehicle from a higher vehicle is an error, therefore it is called 'upward error.' Obscuring a higher vehicle with a lower vehicle is an obscuration, therefore it is called 'downward obscuration.' For example, like the cap of a mushroom, if analyzed separately, it is beyond imagination, but if gathered together, it gathers like an umbrella under the cap. Similarly, two thousand errors and obscurations can be discerned under one word. Realize that the nameless is a great state beyond mind. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of view transcend liberation from extremes. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of samaya transcend the breakage and faults of primordial purity. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of activity transcend the absence of effort and accomplishment. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of the path transcend the impossibility of entering. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of the ground transcend the impossibility of purification. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of subtlety transcend the absence of inherent existence. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of wisdom transcend the absence of clarity and obscurity. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of the continuum transcend the state of mind, dharma, and continuum being mixed. The errors, obscurations, and delusions of scripture transcend being non-reversed, correct, and certain.
