Where will liberation be attained? If there is no connection with the ultimate truth, how will sentient beings attain liberation? If there are no conventional sentient beings, it is impossible for noble ones not to be conventional. If that is the case, the need for the path to liberation will be abandoned and become meaningless. Is the ultimate truth one or not one? If it is one, does the ultimate truth change or not change? If it changes, the ultimate truth is not true, and samsara and nirvana will not change. If the unchanging ultimate truth is the true nature of the noble ones, then sentient beings will be liberated without effort. Otherwise, the ultimate truth becomes unnecessary. Because of false conceptualization, you should abandon the afflictive emotions. Afflictive emotions disturb the mind, and one unknowingly sinks into the swamp of samsara. Actions become meaningless causes of suffering, and one cannot attain Buddhahood through the Dharma of cessation. So, how is it? Although samsara is self-appearing, conventionality arises from the delusion of ignorance. Negative thoughts arise from the conditions of karma. If one clings to the nature of suffering, one will not be liberated because it is self-appearing. Like washing dirt with dirt, one should cultivate aversion to the Dharma of samsara by transforming self-appearing self-appearances. Abandon non-virtue and guard morality. If it becomes a habit, there will be no attachment. If one is free from attachment, suffering will be liberated. By meditating on emptiness, selflessness, and bliss on the impermanent suffering of self-appearance, the afflictive emotions of self-grasping will be liberated. Even if one does not know that it is the mind that grasps, the object that is grasped is what is eliminated. That is, abiding in meditation. If there is no self-appearance of samsara, then there is no need to abandon it. Even if one abandons it, one cannot eliminate samsara. If it is not eliminated, samsara is self-existent. Self and samsara are mutually, this mountain and that mountain do not change places. At the time of samsara, the object of samsara and self-appearance are not two. At the time of cessation, the appearance of cessation and self-appearance are not seen by me as two. Appearance is selfless and all-pervading, and the samsara of self-grasping is also. The partial Hinayana is selfless, and the impartial conceptualization is Mahayana. Is the blissful result of abandoning samsara obtained from oneself or does it arise from others? If it arises from oneself, then the meaning of selflessness, the ultimate truth of the noble ones, what is your samadhi? Does it exist from the beginning or does it arise on the path? By what will the result be attained? If it exists from the beginning, then all sentient beings are the nature of the noble ones, so what need is there to accomplish?

From where does the unreal fruit arise? If it arises, is it conventional truth or ultimate truth? In the self-appearance of conventional samsara, ultimate truth is devoid of arising. Who sees that formless form? When cultivating on the path of conventional truth, even the eight unfavorable conditions give rise to qualities. Because the appearance of conventional truth exists, there is no need to experience suffering and suffering. Because it arises from a causeless path, not relying on a basis, what fruit do you desire to obtain from the causeless? Why abandon causeless samsara? Without a path, how is enlightenment accomplished? Because the fruit is not produced by the path, beings are liberated without effort. Or effort becomes meaningless. Meditative absorption becomes meaningless. If it exists, why is cultivation needed? If it does not exist, from where does the object of cultivation arise? If one engages in discrimination between existence and non-existence, discrimination is the source of contention in samsara. The ground of enlightenment is free from the source of contention. For sentient beings arising from others, upon whom should the compassion of the noble ones be directed? If it arises from karma, why is the path needed? If it is produced by the compassion of the noble ones, then there is not even one such sentient being. If it arises from oneself, then that which arises from others is cut off. If all three are needed, then those causes and conditions become worldly phenomena of compounded things. The nature of the noble ones is uncompounded. The great path that one desires to realize is the nature of reality that pervades all. The meaning that abides within oneself, outwardly, is the leisure and endowment endowed with causes and conditions, abandoning objects of attachment to wrong views. On the virtuous deeds of the path of non-attachment, following the noble ones as an external condition, and the unscattered meditative absorption as an internal condition, is the self-appearance of the assembly of dependent arising. As the sign that it is one's own mind, whatever meditative absorption is attained, it and its fruit arise from oneself and not from others. Even so, like the sky in a bamboo tube, merely one's own meditative absorption, because the meaning of others is not realized, one still remains in the mire of samsara. If one wishes to reach the dry land of great bliss, then in the mandala of love and compassion, truly practice the dharma of selflessness, and generate wisdom in the supreme vehicle. From the dependent arising arising from ignorance, for samsara like a water-drawing wheel, wanting to reverse it, desiring the meaning of self-benefit, the meditative absorption that prevents ignorance, are the object to be purified and the antidote one or different? If like the former, because of ignorance, ignorance will not change the mind. The mind is primordially the mind of sentient beings.
