Gathered into one. Ignorance is shown to be abundant. Because of abundance, the Suchness is not realized. There is not much more than one sky. If there are many, it is inferior because new holes are seen. It is just like not realizing the sky. The Sugata-garbha pervades all. There is no sentient being without cause. In the body and mind of a human who has obtained the conditions, The Victorious One's body, speech, and mind reside. That Dharma-nature, like the sky, Is the object of all without partiality. The light of wisdom, like the sun, See and enjoy it like the sun. Equality without inside or outside. For the sake of this Great Vehicle's meaning, A human body with the Buddha's intention, Is spontaneously accomplished and completely perfected, But due to other-powered conditions, it appears as two. Conceptual constructs are considered to be sudden delusions. With the appearance of gold-transforming elixir, Just as iron is made into gold, Having abandoned the impure, obscuring body, It transforms into the stainless body of the Victorious One. The sunlight of compassion spreads in the ten directions. It dispels the masses of ignorance and darkness. The light of wisdom is completely clear. It is obtained by practicing the true Dharma. Having become accomplished in meaning, If effort is not exerted in this, Actions are meaningless and the cause of suffering. Conditioned things are impermanent and of the nature of destruction. Years, months, dates, and numbers are impermanent, Driven by time, they go further and further away. Not staying for a moment, death comes quickly. Just as there is change and movement in time, Friends will also become nonexistent. Non-friends will also become nonexistent. External places will also become nonexistent, And internal things will also become nonexistent. Likewise, I will also become nonexistent, At the time of impermanent death. What is the benefit of worldly dharmas, Practiced with hardship for a long time? Therefore, generate effort in seeking the Dharma. What is the use of living without the Dharma? Therefore, I go for refuge to the protector of beings, Who dispels all fears. The Dharma that is understood in his mind, Is the Bodhicitta itself. Having obtained a human body without the Dharma, It is like going to a golden island and returning empty-handed. Since one does not take from the vicinity of the human body, It is impossible to attain enlightenment after death. Those who waste such a human body, Should grasp the essence from the non-essential. Are you not deceived by flattery and embellishment? The world is impermanent like an illusion. Deceiving oneself, one takes the form of a lower realm. Those who are ignorant and hold onto falsehood as truth, The ignorant fools will be reborn as animals. Gross thoughts have great attachment and aversion.

Those who delight in killing and are fierce in bloodshed, The great red Yama of karma, The executioner of hell has arrived. Not satisfied with what they have, they crave what they don't, The miserly rich, craving with greed, In the realm of the hungry ghosts, there is no before or after. Constantly revolving in the realm of suffering, Like a river rushing away, never to return. Likewise, from the suffering of the lower realms, How could there be a possibility of liberation? Unless it is a temporary impropriety. There is no happiness for those in samsara, The happiness of samsara is suffering. The fool finds poisonous food delicious, Delights in creating the suffering of samsara. Although wanting to obtain the happiness of desire, What is created is only suffering. Slightly indulging in the waves of suffering, The fruit of samsara ripens at that time. Like worms in filth, Attachment to happiness creates suffering. From the common suffering of the five aggregates, Especially the suffering caused by karma: The suffering of the death and transference of gods, The Sanskrit Romanization: duhkha, Literal Chinese Meaning: suffering) of the Avici hell is great. The Asuras fight with greed and hatred, To the point of their own hearts splitting and dying, and Humans, due to accidental combinations, The endless pain, and Animals, ignorant in darkness, The fear of eating each other, and Hungry ghosts see enemies when they see food, The Sanskrit Romanization: duhkha, Literal Chinese Meaning: suffering) of being tortured by executioners, and Hell, constantly out of time, All suffering is unbearable. When the ripening of karma is not exhausted, The life of hell has no end. Karma is created under the control of afflictions, Afflictions, ignorance, confusion, Except for the mind of bodhichitta, Constantly revolving without end. I have not seen an end. Sentient beings with wrong views, with enduring hearts. The human body is a transitional fortress. If you have it this time, you can have it forever. Therefore, strive with respect and diligence, Retreat from those who are learned and knowledgeable. Revere the virtuous friend like the crown of your head, Treat beings with a compassionate heart, Without regard for body and life, Quickly seek the Mahayana Dharma. The Buddhas of the past and their retinues, For the sake of seeking the supreme Dharma, Because they did not disobey the words of the guru, From the sudden abandonment of life, With a fearless mind, Driven a thousand iron nails into their bodies, Lit a thousand butter lamps on their flesh, Flaying skin, breaking bones, and After smearing with blood, Desiring the Dharma, performing difficult offerings, Even if suffering comes, they can endure it. From the depths of the heart, without regret,
