It is said to be the view of Anu Yoga. Words that transcend effort, as well as words of self-arisen wisdom, and spontaneously accomplished primordial Buddhas, etc., these are said to be the view of Dzogchen. This is a brief summary of the teachings. Thus it was said. From the Great Treatise of the All-Illuminating Bindu, the meaning of the view is explained, taught with symbolic words, it is the forty-sixth chapter. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets asked: Kye Kye, Bhagavan Vajradhara! Please speak about the distinctions of intention and meditation, and their meaning. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajradhara, listen carefully! The essence, definition, division, and metaphorical words are taught. The essence is to abide in one-pointedness. The definition of meditation is fourfold: meditating by focusing on the meaning, meditating without distraction, meditating without separation, being accustomed and familiar without carelessness. The divisions are shown as two types: with signs and without signs. Without signs, there are also two: the great effortless method of meditation and meditation without effort. It is the same with signs. In short, there are two types: generation and completion. There are four metaphors symbolizing meditation: pressing down on a lampstand, mixing water and milk, like a jewel in water, like a lamp in a vase. Kye Kye, Lord of Secrets, listen carefully! Where does "intention" come from? Meditation is samadhi, without distraction, without carelessness, without separation, being in a state of abiding, habituation, and familiarity. Where do these come from? Please explain the combination of calling words. Thus it was said. From the Great Treatise of the All-Illuminating Bindu, the meaning of meditation, together with symbols, is summarized and taught, it is the forty-seventh chapter. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets asked: Kye Kye, Bhagavan Vajradhara! Please speak about the meaning of non-meditation. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajradhara, listen carefully! Explain the essence, definition, division, and metaphorical words of non-meditation. The essence is self-awareness, without interruption. Because one does not apply the mind, it is the definition of non-meditation, because one does not abide in a state of mind, therefore it is not necessary to act. There are two divisions of non-meditation: non-meditation with signs and non-meditation without signs. Each of these also has

Two Teachings: There is nothing to meditate on in nature, and there is nothing to meditate on in realization. The example of continuous non-meditation is like pointing out a bubble in a river. Without separating from the meaning of non-meditation, like a bee clinging to the stamen of a flower. Non-meditation naturally manifests, like the essence of clarity and the sun. O Secret Lord, listen carefully! In all the tantras and agamas I have taught, all the words of "no meditation," all the words of "no need to abide," all the words of "cannot be accomplished," all the words of "no gathering and scattering," and the great self of nature and essence, and the original non-gathering and scattering, and transcendence of all actions and searches, and no passage on the path, and the manifestation of enlightenment, and the great self-born wisdom, and the spontaneous accomplishment of original enlightenment, and no fabrication in the mind, and separation from the object of focus, and "settling the mind on the meaning of non-meditation," all the words of "no meditation," gathered by the sound of calling, know as I have taught here! Thus it was said. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the explanation of the meaning of non-meditation, together with the words spoken, is summarized and taught, which is the forty-eighth chapter. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked again: Alas! Alas! Bhagavan, skilled in means, please speak of the meaning of conduct. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Lord of Secrets, listen well! The nature, definition, classification, example, and eight verses of conduct will be explained. The nature of conduct is: conduct is uninterrupted, possessing meaning and wealth. The definition of conduct is: it accords with each meaning and is used and enjoyed. There are two types of classification: conduct with acceptance and rejection, and conduct without acceptance and rejection. The example is like a dancer who transforms in various ways. Like the actions of a skilled craftsman's hands. O Secret Lord, in all the tantras and agamas I have taught, all the words of conduct and activity, and action and doing, and the superior, intermediate, and inferior yogas, and the conduct of the base, path, and fruit, how they arise, I will explain as I have taught. Thus it was said. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the explanation of the meaning of conduct is summarized and taught, which is the forty-ninth chapter. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked again: Alas! Alas! Bhagavan Vajradhara,
