Zhashi (trags). From there, the womb-born came into being. The human world gradually formed. Afflictions are coarse and the fruit is bad. Finally, it reaches the Avici Hell. Thus it is said. The formation of the inner essence shown in the Great Clear Point, which is the seventeenth chapter. Then it was said again: Hey, Vajra Holder, listen! In all the tantras and prophecies that I have spoken, Using the words of the end of the kalpa to express, It is a sentient being with eight consciousnesses. With breath as the cause, it is called the thinking mind. Many gathered together are the aggregates. Because of the accumulation, it is like that. Realm is the nature of characteristics. Because characteristics arise, it is the source of arising. Each of the doors is clear, Exercising power over their respective realms, They are called faculties. Form is shown as color and shape. Sound is shown as the realm of the ear. Smell is shown as the realm of the nose. Taste is shown as the realm of the tongue. Touch is shown as the realm of the body. Therefore, it is said like that. Feeling is experiencing many. Perception holds the realm as a characteristic. Formation makes the mind move. Attention is the object. Consciousness is discrimination. In order to completely distinguish everything, And the formation that arises from causes and conditions. What grows from moisture matures suddenly. What matures completely is born miraculously. Womb-born matures gradually. Egg-born is the cause that matures. Hell is the path of suffering. Hungry ghosts are the path of obstruction. Animals are the path of darkness. The path of humans is the muddy path. The path of gods is distraction. For the sake of existence and going, it is the path. Because birth and dependence are inseparable, It is the path of samsara and nirvana. The place of hell is endowed with patience. The place of hungry ghosts is endowed with mind. The place of animals is endowed with intoxication. The place of humans is endowed with desire. The place of Asuras is endowed with strife. The place of gods is endowed with joy. For the sake of the meaning of dependence, it is shown as the place. Sons of the lineage, their cause is affliction, That is, the reason expressed by each of their sounds, And the differences in meaning are distinguished separately, It is the cause and effect of karma, And because they do not understand the meaning of suchness, it is ignorance. Attachment is clinging. Pride is arrogance. Anger is hatred. Hatred is agitation. Jealousy is intolerance.

Pa'o. These are the six causes. From them, six essences and six fruits ripen. O Secret Lord, those are the dharmas that the six classes of beings currently possess. In whatever tantra, understand that these are the dharmas of the final age, as explained here. Thus he spoke. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the teaching of the words of the final age, the eighteenth chapter is complete. Then again, the Secret Lord asked: O, O, Bhagavan Vajradhara! If the meaning of samsara arising as adornment and play is so, please explain how the five elements arise in that way. Thus he spoke. The Teacher replied: The essence and definition of the elements, and all the divisions and examples, I will explain, you hold them in your mind. I will explain from the perspective of essence and division. The essence of the elements is the five pure essences and the five impure essences. The essence of the five pure essences is the five wisdoms that hold characteristics. The essence of the five impure essences is the five: earth, water, fire, wind, and space. The definition of the elements is: arising as the skill of awareness, and from the skill, the appearance of samsara and nirvana. I will explain the fourfold division. The two aspects, pure and impure, each will be explained in the same way. Son of the lineage, hold well. The pure essence of the elements is the five lights. The impure are earth, water, fire, and wind. The impure of the pure essence are flesh and bones, etc. The pure essence of the impure is the five colors of the rainbow. The example is like the rays of the sun, and the light of pure lapis lazuli. Thus he spoke. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the condensed teaching of the five elements, the nineteenth chapter is complete. Then again, the Secret Lord asked: O, O, Bhagavan Vajradhara! What are the characteristics of the impure elements? How do they arise from the five pure essences? What are the characteristics of the pure elements? How should the nature of reality be applied to meaning? How are the impure elements liberated into the pure? Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajra-holder, listen! The characteristic of earth is solidity. The characteristic of water is fluidity. The characteristic of fire is heat. The characteristic of wind is lightness and movement. The characteristic of space is vastness and openness. Each also acts in the same way. From the pure earth arises white light. From that appears the impure earth. Similarly, from the pure elements, four kinds of light arise.
