Therefore, due to faith, the naturally pure sky, although being the essence of color and form, and the nature of the elements, is not separate from habits, and its essence is ignorant emptiness. The great Dharmakaya bindu, although in accordance with emptiness, is contrary to those, therefore liberated from oneness and otherness. The liberated unliberated is mind and wisdom, liberation is the single ground. Mind appears with concepts, wisdom abides without concepts, therefore it is not liberated from the nature of potential. The unliberated liberation is bindu and object, the awareness of bindu is uninterrupted, and the object abides in emptiness without object, therefore it is unliberated. Liberation is that all dharmas are not like being separate, abiding in indivisible emptiness, the clear transparency beyond separate expressions. Therefore, it is the unliberated liberation. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Elaborations, the chapter explaining the meaning of the four extremes, the one hundred and nineteenth chapter. Then, again the Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani, the Lord of Secrets) asked: O, O, Bhagavan Vajradhara! Please speak about the meaning of sound. Thus he asked. The Teacher (Shakyamuni Buddha) said: In all the tantras and agamas I have spoken, how sounds appear, the essence of sound, the cause of accomplishment, the elimination of others, and beneficial conditions, I will explain summarized into four aspects. The essence of sound is "འ" (a) and "ཨ" (ā). These two are the source of everything. How do they arise? They arise from non-duality. These two are immutable, therefore it is "ས" (sa). Between these two, wisdom arises naturally without interruption, therefore it is "ཧ" (ha). From this, wisdom arises, therefore "ཤ" (sha) arises. These two are both feminine, and the two bodies that appear in this way arise as compassion, therefore it is "ཀ" (ka). Not departing from the nature of the sphere, naturally abiding within it, therefore it is "ཁ" (kha). These two are uninterrupted, therefore it is "ག" (ga). Everything appears in these two, therefore it is "ང" (nga). These two are the source of everything, therefore it is "ཙ" (tsa). Experiencing it as truly non-dual, therefore it is "ཚ" (tsha). It holds it with compassion without interruption, and these two are inseparable, therefore it is "ཛ" (dza). "ཨ" (a) is awareness, therefore it is "ཏ" (ta). The ground abides in the ultimate, therefore it is "བ" (ba). If these two arise non-dually, then it is uncreated knowable, which is "ང" (nga). Appearing as wisdom, therefore it is "ཉ" (nya). Non-realization appears as mind, therefore it is "ན" (na). These two are non-

Since it is the Dharmakaya, it is "pa"; since there is no exhaustion of means, it is "pha"; since it appears as the body of power, it is "ba"; the compassion of these two is made of the four kayas, so it is "ya"; since it is inseparable from compassion, it is "ra"; since everything arises and gathers from these two, it is "la"; since it appears from these two as if realized or not realized, it is "ṭa log" and "ḍa log"; therefore, "'a" and "a" are the essence of sound. Accomplishing these two is: with two "a"s, all letters are purified and accomplished; with "'a", everything is accomplished by being free from elaboration; when these two are connected, it is knowledge, accomplishing without interruption; connected with "ha", it is great, accomplishing the uncreated; from the self-arising of wisdom, exhaustion arises, accomplishing without birth and death; "ha" and the subscript also connect with the letters, so it is short, that is, gathering; "ja" is the condition of its benefit; "pa ra", "ta sa ra", etc. are the accomplishment of elaboration; "sa" and "ta" are the conditions of its benefit; all reversed letters are the uncommon accomplishment; all self-natures are the accomplishment of essence; likewise, everything that arises from "'a" and "a" has its own meaning aspect, accomplishing its own meaning aspect; this is established as the accomplisher of sound; since the names of "'a" and "a" of these are not consistent, eliminating the consistent aspect, eliminating the inconsistent aspect with each door, therefore it is the elimination of others; the magical ways of these become the helpers of accomplishing their own meanings, and since the qualities of the base are universally accomplished, they become the helpers of meaning, therefore, sound is a beneficial condition. Thus asked. In the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Free from Elaboration, the chapter on showing the meaning of sound is the one hundred and twentieth. Then again, the Lord of Secrets asked: O! O! Blessed Vajradhara! Whatever Tantras, Agamas, and Instructions you have spoken, Since all the collections of words are explained as such, Please tell me how to destroy the syllables? The Teacher replied: Vajra Holder, listen well! All the meanings of the Tantras, Agamas, and Instructions are explained as above, All situations are connected with calling sounds, The syllables mentioned above should be suppressed. Son of the lineage, the so-called "chapter" is The boundary of each and Other dharmas are not mixed, mainly explaining the meaning of what is expressed. All knowing of the occasion is the meaning of the chapter and the arising of meaning.
