O! There are two places of the past, namely the place of the Great Vehicle and the place of the Lower Vehicle. The place of the Great Vehicle has both common and special aspects. What is shown here is the special aspect. The definition is that it is a place because it does not change and abides. The example is like the throne of a stupa that is unmixed and complete. Thus it is said. In the Great Tantra of Dispelling Elaborations and Clarifying Meaning, the chapter on explaining the meaning of place, the hundredth chapter is complete. Then, the Lord of Secrets again asked: "Wonderful! Wonderful! Blessed Vajradhara! Please speak of the stages of the path That cannot be traveled or entered." Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: "Lagna, be sure to hold the vajra! Those who enter a path where there is no path have a great disease of the path. Those who wish to go to the other shore are like deer chasing a mirage. Therefore, it is not a true path. Abiding well on the untraveled path, From the view of no gathering and no scattering, A single great path of certainty arises without error. The nature of the untraveled is bodhichitta. By striving to walk, wisdom is far from the end. That which cannot be entered is the path of self-aware wisdom. By striving to enter, one falls to the end of suffering. However, if it is not explained, it will not be understood, Therefore, in order to realize the one untraveled path, I will explain the five paths that are harmonious in sound and sublime in meaning. After fully attending and serving the lama, And abiding in the presence of the holy one, This is called the path of accumulation. The lama explains the meaning of the holy one, And applies it to the meaning of the two instructions. I explain this as the path of application. Through the four doors of recognition, In this life, one sees the truth of certainty. I explain this as the path of seeing. The meditation that does not need to be meditated upon, And the two that can be meditated upon, residing without gathering or scattering, I show this as the path of meditation. The four great assurances of the Buddha's intention, Perfected by not abiding, I explain this as the path of completion." Thus it is said. In the Great Tantra of Dispelling Elaborations and Clarifying Meaning, the chapter on explaining the five paths of certain fruit, the one hundred and first chapter is complete. Then, the Lord of Secrets again asked: "Wonderful! Wonderful! Blessed Vajradhara! Please speak of the meaning of the path." Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: "Lord of Secrets, be sure to hold fast! I will explain the nature, definition, And common examples of the divisions of the path. The nature of the path that I have explained is, The yoga of no gathering and no scattering. The path of

The explanation of its definition is: it cannot proceed to other places and enter, and it abides without separation from its original place, therefore it is called the Path. There are two types of classification: the Path of Cause and the Path of Definite Result. For example, it is similar to the path in the world. The symbol of the effortless path is: like a great Garuda soaring in the sky. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Elaborations, the chapter explaining the meaning of the Path, the one hundred and second. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked again: "Wonderful, wonderful, Blessed One Vajradhara! The ten perfections of the result, which are beyond diligent practice, and spontaneously accomplished without effort, please explain them in words that are consistent and meanings that are supreme." Thus he asked. The Teacher said: "Vajra Holder, listen well! The ten great perfections, by mastering them, one abandons the sickness of effort, and they are established by spontaneously abiding. Since the essence is primordially enlightened, the expanse is not moved by thoughts of effort. Samadhi meditation obscures the Buddha's body, but the Buddha's body is not obscured, it is always clear. If one does not realize great spontaneous accomplishment, then it is not a definite perfection. That great meaning of true definiteness, its essence is like the sky, qualities appear without partiality, and even when they appear, they are self-aware and completely pure. That itself is the perfection of generosity. Stainless purity is the perfection of discipline. Unrivaled is the perfection of patience. Without forgetting is the perfection of diligence. Without wavering is the perfection of meditation. Without cessation is the perfection of wisdom. Without ignorance and unawareness, it is the same. Without contrived effort is the perfection of skillful means. Acting in an instant is the perfection of power. Qualities complete in themselves are the perfection of aspiration. The ground is primordial wisdom, which is the perfection of wisdom." Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Elaborations, the chapter fully explaining the foundation of the path of practice of the ten perfections, the one hundred and third. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked again: "Wonderful, wonderful, Blessed One Vajradhara! The ten perfections in terms of meaning, how should their meaning be explained?" Thus he asked. The Teacher said: "Vajra Holder, listen well! The nature of the perfections, along with their definitions, classifications, and similar examples, will be summarized and clearly explained in terms of meaning. First, the nature should be explained.
