Profound! Furthermore, the consciousness of the five gates: Because that realm appears, it is born knowing. If the realm does not appear, consciousness does not arise. It also arises with attachment to the realm. Therefore, the perception of the five gates is self-governing. If perception is clear, then the attachment of the five gates ceases. The nature of the mind's consciousness is shown as: Outwardly, it acts as the master who enjoys the five realms. Inwardly, it is the afflicted mind that grasps from them. It is the master of both the grasped and the grasper. Therefore, all kinds of conceptual thoughts, are the power of one's own awareness. That very awareness, clear and without grasping, Even though awareness changes, there is no trace of grasping. Even though outwardly enjoying the realm, if not grasping, then the view is thorough, and one is liberated from the mind. The nature of the afflicted mind is: Those who make conceptual thoughts of the realm, From the aspect of grasping to the mind, it is the afflicted mind. Clear awareness without grasping is the view. In reality, the power of awareness is not stopped, Unrecognized, it arises as a collection of conceptual thoughts by grasping to the realm. Having recognized, not grasping to the realm, is the ultimate end of wisdom, thorough seeing. The nature of the basis of all, the meaning of union, is shown as: It is made as the basis of the seven aggregates of conceptual thought. If one does not accumulate conceptual thoughts in the seven aggregates, then one is liberated from that basis of all, the meaning of union. Likewise, one is liberated from the eight aggregates of favorable conditions. One is also liberated from the eight aggregates of inner awareness. One is also liberated from the outer Dharmadhatu. The five elements are coarse and solid. The view, the Dharmadhatu, is emptiness. Lights and clarity are the appearance of power. Therefore, as soon as the Dharmakaya, the Dharmadhatu, arises, one is liberated from the appearance of delusion. The definitive view is free from elaboration. Why is it free from elaboration? Because the extreme of elaboration is falling into extremes, If one is free from that, then one is free from elaboration. The extreme is also the extreme of samsara, The extreme of samsara is also both outer and inner, The outer five elements are the extreme of solidity, The five elements are conditioned, Because they are unconditioned and without grasping, one is liberated from extremes. The inner is the extreme of grasping the five poisons of affliction, Not falling to the side of grasping, one is free from extremes. Thus, outer and inner, vessel and essence, are liberated from extremes. Because it is clear and without grasping, one is liberated from the extreme of annihilation. Because it is non-conceptual emptiness, one is liberated from the extreme of permanence. Because there are no directions or parts, one is liberated from the extreme of the nine stages.

Liberated from the extremes of all outer and inner phenomena, without clinging to the three bodies and five wisdoms, liberated from the extreme of nirvana. Without any partiality, it is separated from all extremes. Without any clinging, it does not fall into any side. Transcending the realm of the mind, it is separated from the words of expression. Without doubt and without a place of hope, the Buddha is now. Separated from all hopes and doubts, the fruit is now. One who knows and realizes in this way, even if dwelling in samsara, perfects the fruit of the three bodies, the five wisdoms do not change their meaning, the meaning of self-arisen awareness manifests. Without shame and fear, it is like a great garuda soaring in the sky. Thus it is said. From the Great Tantra of Freedom from Proliferation and Clarity of Meaning, the fifty-fourth chapter, which extensively explains the view. Homage! Homage! Blessed Vajradhara! Since the view has been extensively explained, for the benefit of future worthy individuals, please explain the nature of the view itself, and the essential unerring instructions, that is, the instructions held with one's life. After this request, the teacher spoke as follows: Establishing the self-aware dharmakaya, the qualities of self-awareness cannot be measured by words, the self-aware dharmakaya with ten qualities, not born from cause and condition, is the nature of self-arisen. Not established by things and characteristics, it is the nature of emptiness. Self-aware and self-illuminating, awareness is the nature of inner clarity. The light of awareness manifests as the five gates, it is the nature of outer clarity. Following the five gates, it is the nature of flowing transparency. The light of awareness manifests as light, it is the nature of form. Clarity and emptiness are non-dual, in meaning it is the nature of oneness. Without seeking qualities, naturally accomplished, it is the nature of spontaneous accomplishment. Without abandoning faults, naturally pure, it is the nature of self-purification. The environment and conditions self-liberate, it is the nature of non-attachment. Self-arisen not born from cause and condition, not born from the compassion of the Sugatas, is self-arisen. Not born from the karma of sentient beings. Not born from the five outer elements. Not born from the inner conceptual thoughts. Not fabricated by the mind of the practitioner. Therefore, self-arisen is without cause and condition. Emptiness not established by things and characteristics, not sudden, but empty from the beginning. Emptiness not established by the essence of clarity. Emptiness not fabricated and defiled by the mind. Emptiness not established by substance and characteristics. Afflictions and habitual tendencies
