Not established by logic, nor arising from the blessings of mantras and mudras, not born from causes, not destroyed by conditions, unmade, uncorrupted, the great, primordial, self-arisen one. Therefore, the causeless cause is the supreme of causes, the condition is the instruction of the holy guru. Why is the oral instruction the guru? Because the holy guru reveals the oral instruction, thus realizing the meaning of the indivisibility of self-arisen clarity and emptiness. Therefore, the condition is the instruction of the holy guru. The essence is self-awareness, the indivisibility of clarity and emptiness. Realizing this meaning is the essence of view. The definition of view is self-aware wisdom. Not depending on others, it is called "self." Turning away from material things, it is "awareness." Time is not sudden, so it is called "primordial." It is knowing its meaning and essence. The nature of view is great clarity and purity. The power of self-aware clarity manifests as five lights. Self is the meaning of self-arisen awareness, from the ground, the power of clarity, the radiance of light, arises. Above that, there is no other great thing. The characteristic of view is possessing five wisdoms. The self-arisen awareness, the Dharmakaya, its essence is unestablished, it is the wisdom of emptiness. Unobstructed clarity, like a mirror-like wisdom. That which is non-dual and equal, is the wisdom of non-dual equality. Those unobstructed, each clear, are called the wisdom of individual self-awareness. Such wisdom, with its power, clear and unobstructed, anything can be accomplished, therefore it is shown as the wisdom of accomplishing activity. From that, the power of clarity, the five lights arise, therefore it is called the five wisdoms that hold characteristics. The classification of views, three forms are taught. That is, one's own awareness is shown as the Dharmakaya, the intermediate power of awareness is shown without obstruction, and the external appearance is shown as the Dharmadhatu. If one realizes the inner awareness, it is the Dharmakaya. The power is the Rupakaya, appearing as two. If the Dharmakaya is divided, it is shown as five wisdoms. Its power manifests as five colors of light. The inner movement is complete with five gates. Although acting in external objects, it is liberated in its own place. Because there is no grasping or conceptualization, the movement is unobstructed and thorough. If the external self-arisen awareness becomes clear, then the external object is the empty Dharmadhatu, the five lights arise and are established as the five elements. The intermediate radiance is established as one's own body. The five afflictions arising from ignorance, self-aware

When I recognize the nature of non-grasping, The self-nature arises, showing self-appearances as pure. Though grasping moves, wherever it moves, it is liberated in its own place. External appearances do not cling to objects, When the inner, self-born awareness becomes clear, That is called the self-aware Dharmakaya. Empty-clear, non-conceptual, endowed with bliss, Knowing the meaning of all, without clinging to anything afterwards. Awareness is called the Dharmakaya. This is how the condensed meaning of the view is shown. The essence of awareness is the part of emptiness that is not established. Because it dwells clearly, it is great empty-clarity. Showing clarity as unceasing skill, Moving without trace, the cause of all-knowing. The clear part, form, is unceasing, so it is the resonance of the five lights. Not entering into the grasping of objects, it is the Dharmadhatu. The four parts: emptiness, clarity, appearance, and movement, Holding the meaning of non-grasping, is the view. Showing the necessity of the view: The view is like an eye, so everything is clear. Without the view, it is impossible to attain Buddhahood. Without the view, the darkness of ignorance cannot be cleared. Without the view, even if you meditate, the meaning will not change. Without the view, even if you act, there is nothing to act upon. Without the view, it is impossible to be liberated from the state of samsara. Without the view, it is impossible to be freed from suffering. Without the view, it is impossible to attain great bliss. Therefore, the necessity of the view is very great. Showing the cutting off of the wrong paths of the view: Because it is self-born, it cuts off the wrong path of cause and condition. Because it dwells in emptiness, it cuts off the wrong path of things. Because it dwells in clarity, it cuts off the wrong path of emptiness. Because awareness arises transparently, it cuts off the wrong path of the ground. Because clarity arises as light, it cuts off the wrong path of the emptiness of awareness. Because it abides without fabrication or corruption, it cuts off the wrong path of the generation stage. Because it is clear without gathering or scattering, it cuts off the wrong path of meditation. Because it is oneself, it cuts off the wrong path of relying on others. Because it arises without direction, it cuts off the wrong path of direction and boundary. Because it is the root of all, it cuts off the wrong path of the vehicle. Because it is realized by mere showing, it cuts off the wrong path of hearing and thinking. Because one knows one's own nature, it is impossible to go astray elsewhere. Showing the purification of faults: By cutting off the wrong path, all faults are purified. Cutting off the extreme of permanence, cutting off the extreme of annihilation. Cutting off the extreme of existence, cutting off the extreme of non-existence. Cutting off the extreme of appearance, cutting off the extreme of emptiness. Cutting off the extreme of one, cutting off the extreme of many. The purification of all extremes Is the great, completely pure view. Why is it called great? Because it is spontaneously accomplished in the meaning of purity, It is called great purity. The view is spontaneously accomplished.
