In the changing, the play of compassion appears as everything. Even in mere appearance, its nature is without certainty. The dharma nature of the great play, whatever appears as actions, shows as the miraculous transformations of the body, and also shows all uncertain miraculous transformations. The body of the great play's miraculous transformations, whatever appears, enjoys and constantly abides, is the self-arising in all fields of activity. All phenomena gathered by worldly people are the vast field of the Tathagata's intention and conduct.

Ho! Great bliss, therefore, samsara and nirvana are one in essence but differ in conditions. One in nature but two in appearance. One in characteristic but two in realms. If one knows the one, that is the very wisdom. If one knows the place of origin, that is definitive. If it is definitive, there is nowhere to go. If there is nowhere to go, one is free from the precipice. If there is no precipice, there is no change. Knowing thus, one is free from permanence and annihilation. Knowing freedom, there is no non-freedom. In the very state of non-freedom, there is no freedom. Freedom and non-freedom are utterly without difference. Emaho! Great bliss, in the nature of non-abiding, there is no imposition of dualistic clinging. In the wisdom without gathering and scattering, there is no assertion of knowing and not knowing. In the self-arisen wisdom of awareness, it is a mistake to conceptualize samsara and nirvana as two. The realm of the essence of one's own mind, being ungraspable, is like the moon in water. Being free from attachment and conceptualization towards appearances, it is bliss. Suffering and great bliss, transform into the very difference of conditions. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Precious Stacked Wheels, the eighth chapter, the Wisdom of Awareness. Then again, showing the meaning of advising one's own essence by one's own nature. Emaho! Great bliss, there is nothing that does not arise from the power of awareness; it is like the sun rising in the sky, there is no place here that is bright and no place here that is not bright. Likewise, having decided between scripture and oral instruction, view and meditation, in all places, the meaning of the mind of enlightenment spreading widely and extensively. All phenomena are hidden in the realm of unchanging space, and by means of oral instruction and pure intention, revealing the meaning of one's own great system is like a universal monarch opening the eyes of a blind person. The awareness of sentient beings themselves, realizing the nature of reality that is not defiled, arises. Awareness not clinging to anything, and self-arisen wisdom suddenly arising, is the essence at the base, awareness itself not abiding anywhere. Not clinging to the Dharma that has a path, like a mad elephant, if tied it runs wild, if released it stays still. If awareness gathers the mind of enlightenment, it goes; if released, it returns by itself, it is self-arisen, self-manifesting, and unceasing. Whatever awareness appears as, not abandoning anything but encountering it, is that the base of awareness is self-liberated, and if all conditions are known as catalysts, like wood for a burning fire.
