Before the blind, to dispel all darkness, with the clear light of the lamp of wisdom, dispel the darkness of the five poisons. In the nature of the appearance of wisdom, without attachment, liberation in its own place. In the self-body of all sentient beings, abides the pure appearance of wisdom. However, it cannot be opened in appearance, like the womb and the shell of an egg. Although not manifested and obscured by obstacles, it arises as self-power is perfected. As soon as the body of thoughts is abandoned, self-appearance will meet with the object. The self-awareness that has always been there, its essence, non-thought, will be seen. The pure appearance of wisdom, and the truth of the Buddha, will be seen. The essence of the self-appearance of wisdom, is the absence of mental discrimination. The past object and the future object, the appearance is directly cut off. It is the self-appearance of great wisdom, although there is no manifest object, there is a self-born lamp to indicate. The wisdom of the lamp itself, transcends the limits of appearance and non-appearance. The yogi who understands the nature of reality, does not regard it as emptiness, nor does he deviate from the nature itself. The metaphor for understanding wisdom, like before a mad elephant, wanting to stop the army, with a sword tied to the tip of its nose, like stopping the army with great effort. With the yoga of great wisdom, the yogi cuts the continuum of samsara. Directly see the wisdom of appearance, now it is not, sentient beings, are disturbed by the distraction of self-awareness and discrimination. Like children playing in the dust, distracted by many actions. Likewise, ignorant sentient beings, are disturbed by the demon of discriminating samsara. That is also taught like this, some are disturbed by what is taken as an external object, some are disturbed by what is taken as an internal object, some are disturbed by meditating on meditation, some are disturbed by performing actions, some are disturbed by the attachment and aversion of samsara, likewise all sentient beings, are disturbed by the bonds of the five poisons. The meaning of one's own wisdom is not seen, attached to this appearance again and again, the face of the great pure appearance is not seen. Sentient beings such as humans, because they are not self-reliant, remain in samsara for a long time. The means to realize self-reliance, the lion of Samantabhadra, I will say. Ema! Buddhas of the lineage, listen, in the unborn Dharmakaya, appearance is also the unchanging power.
