Owo, the unchanging body has no darkness, The Sambhogakaya is pure, in a mind-free state, bright and clear. That itself is non-conceptual, the reality of the one three bodies, The self-appearance of bliss, the power of bliss, without a name. Emptiness pervades all, light overwhelms all appearances, The nature of reality is unthinkable, movement is naturally absent. Where could the many dependent things exist? Not abiding in the manifest, self-appearance grasps at objects. It is not darkness, its nature is clear as light, Clear and unceasing, the very essence is the wisdom body. Memory and the object of memory are not in the realm, The wisdom of appearance is separate from the limits of things. The appearance of the Dharmakaya, self-illuminating, From its own nature, it dissolves into its own body. If body and wisdom do not abide in words, The secret mantra is self-born, the intention is un fabricated. Because it is countless, it is the single decisive purity, The visible appearance, the means are unceasing, the meaning is clear. Without an object, it abides in its own object, Without center or edge, the secret mantra itself is the measure. It is self-appearance, Samantabhadra taught as such, It is not biased, it transcends directions and boundaries. Emaho! From the inner without inner, extracting the treasure of precious jewels, It is the inexhaustible treasure of all the Buddhas, Therefore, do not be distracted by its meaning, practice without attachment. Emaho! On one's own ground, the bodies of all the Buddhas arise, A peaceful state without the realm of consciousness, The self-appearance of appearance itself is without substance. Do not fall into the side of conceptualization, abide in the radiance of self-awareness. The meaning of practicing in the nature of reality, appearance devoid of mind, Without expanding or contracting, look at your own realm. The nature of reality, Samantabhadra, without bottom or edge, The two extremes of yes and no are completely clear. The precious jewel without excess or deficiency, In the state of no birth and no death, cut off conceptual thought. Thinking does not find the meaning of wisdom, If thinking finds the meaning of wisdom, Then self-born wisdom will become false. Meditation does not see the Dharmakaya, If meditation sees the Dharmakaya, Then self-appearance, the nature of reality, will become false. Looking does not realize the meaning of awareness, If looking realizes the meaning of awareness, Then the unceasing Dharmakaya will become false. With Dharma, the root of ignorance cannot be cut off, If with Dharma, the root of ignorance is cut off, Then primordial purity wisdom will become false. With virtue, the meaning of Buddhahood is not realized, If with virtue, the meaning of Buddhahood is realized, Then the Great Perfection's natural state will become false. With sin, one will not fall into samsara, With sin, one falls into samsara

If that happens, the three aspects of a moment will become false. With emptiness, one cannot see the true meaning; if with emptiness one sees the true meaning, the five wisdom lights will become false. With characteristics, one cannot see one's own meaning; if with characteristics one sees one's own meaning, self-arisen dharmata will become false. With effort, one cannot find the meaning of spontaneous perfection; if with effort one finds the meaning of spontaneous perfection, the unchanging essence will become false. With grasping, appearance cannot be seen; if with grasping appearance can be seen, self-nature unceasing will become false. With practice, one cannot liberate others; if with practice one can liberate others, all-pervasive compassion will become false. Confused appearance cannot obscure me; if confused appearance obscures me, the two lamps will become false. Therefore, the intention of secret mantra is shown. Since there is no place for the two, object and mind, it is wisdom appearing in itself. This is from the Great Tantra of the Complete Lion's Strength, the fourth chapter showing the intention of the union of two lions. Then again, self-awareness Samantabhadra entered into equanimity, inseparable from self-appearance Samantabhadri. Then, arising from samadhi and remaining in samadhi, again arose the effortless intention of Samantabhadra, and he spoke these words: Emaho, Dharmata Samantabhadra, in order to dispel the thoughts of sentient beings, I show the reasoning of self-appearance objects. Listen well to the five families of Buddhas. My Dharma has no object, therefore there is no ignorance that grasps various things. My wisdom is naturally appearing, therefore there is no self-grasping in my mind. I do not abide in objects, therefore there are no actions of various characteristics. I have no outer and inner, therefore where is clarity and dimness? I am self-born without thought, therefore I am free from the terms of yes and no. Emaho, all sentient beings and Buddhas, are definitely of one essence. With object and without object, the nature is not definitely one. The intention, self-born wisdom, transcends the limits of realization and non-realization. Let go of the mind's activity of yes and no. The nature of appearance and non-appearance is also free from Dharma that falls into the extremes of doing and not doing. From the wisdom of emptiness, the five unobstructed clear lights arise. On the intention of Dharmakaya's self-abiding, it transcends the limits of empty and not empty. Discrimination and imputation also arise. All the Dharmas of the two arise from the state of Samantabhadra Lion.
