Devoid of consciousness, no nature is established, Abiding as the lord of uncreated appearances. In such an abiding nature, Even through seeing, meditating, and acting, No trace of it is seen. Through mantras, samadhi, and contemplation, It cannot touch its edge. Through generosity, discipline, patience, And diligence, meditation, and wisdom, In this essence, there is no benefit or harm. Through tantras, transmissions, and instructions, There is no need for even a particle of it. Even through empowerments, vows, and precepts, Because there is no action, It does not bring benefit or harm. The Buddhas abiding in the three times, For the sake of not confusing this, no one sees it. Therefore, this reality, Is difficult to ascertain with words, It cannot be touched by speech. Because it has not gone beyond the realm of mind through thought, there is no trace to follow. In the means of direct perception, whatever awareness is accustomed to, This, like a man shooting an arrow, Does not turn back from the Buddha. Thus, in the Great Secret of the Six Realms Tantra of Kuntuzangpo, the establishment of the reality of the essence is completed, called the Fourth Chapter. The chapter on the purification of the birth place of animals is the fourth. Then, the teacher Kuntuzangpo, in the adornment of the Great Equality of Dharmata, called the Spontaneous Play of Ornamentation, abides in the equality of spontaneous confusion. He also fills all realms of the world like a sesame pod with the activities of the Buddhas. All the activities of the Buddhas, spontaneously arise without effort, spontaneously liberate without antidote, spontaneously realize without practice, spontaneously attain without accomplishment. The retinues of the world, such as gods and humans, also abide in the spontaneous conduct of emptiness. The consciousnesses, in the realm of "What is this?", in the samadhi of self-nature, without any essence, self-purify without doing, self-Buddha without being born, self-find without searching, the streams of memory cease at once. All thoughts are also naturally pure, and all intentions are at once, in an instant, gradually, and with ease, and the practice of liberating the mind, etc., transcend into that nature, from the beginning it is primordially pure, in intention it is primordially abiding, samsara and nirvana are simultaneously primordially complete, spontaneously arising without effort or accomplishment, appearances

Having liberated from the great spontaneous manifestation of all appearances, marveling at seeing one's own essence and nature, having unwavering faith in the unique qualities of one's own ground, and being irreversible through the realization of awareness, self-power arises within oneself. All of them, with one voice, folded their hands towards the teacher, the Primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, and requested: O Teacher, Primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, by teaching in this way, you bless all sentient beings and place them in the realm of peace, which is truly wondrous! We have naturally attained tolerance of the unborn Dharma nature, and having become equal to all Buddhas, we are exceedingly joyful and delighted! After making this request, their minds became inseparable. Then, among those assemblies, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva named Elephant Light Radiating Light arose, donned his upper robe, and requested the teacher, saying: O Teacher, Primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, what is the essence of all Buddhas? What is the path of the Buddhas? What is meant by the term "fruit," and how should it be practiced? I do not know any of this, so please teach me! He earnestly requested in this way. Then, the Teacher, the Primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, arose from those thoughts, smiled, and manifested immeasurable rays of light, and spoke to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Elephant Light Radiating Light: O noble ones, great Bodhisattvas gathered with faith, I will teach with an unchanging, pure mind. The essence of all Buddhas abiding in the past, future, and present, the supreme and profound secret, I will explain this meaning. Since it is free from the words that say "it is like this," even light is merely symbolized by words. I will joyfully explain it to you, Bodhisattva. The true essence is condensed into a lamp, the sole, free from elaboration, the clarity of self-nature, from within the Dharmadhatu, the essence of emptiness and self-illumination, is the boundless, great light of self-awareness, free from dust. By deeply believing in sound, words, lineage, and names, the great secret of the essence that cuts off the cliff of hope and fear, this is the essence of all Buddhas, the supreme secret. By examining its aspects with the instructions of the meaning-understanding Lama, the essence-lamp of the view.
