Neither the intermediate state changes nor does enlightenment exist therein. The signs of true reality are self-liberated, For whatever is unattached, there is no dwelling on any side. Dwelling and samadhi are the causes that obscure enlightenment. Clinging to cause and effect transforms it into the realm of signs. Therefore, since the path has no end, ask your own heart. On the path of emptiness, there is also no true end. On the path of light, wisdom is born and manifests. On the path of seeing, the light of wisdom shines. On the path of non-thought, non-grasping is self-liberated. By finding the realization of the self-liberation of signs, On the secret path, bindus neither gather nor separate. On the path of the lamp, wisdom does not diminish. On the true path, there are neither Buddhas nor sentient beings. On the path of the body, where is there darkness? On the path of wisdom, where is there good or bad? On the path of arising, where is there illusion? On the path of variety, where is there contraction or expansion? On the path of awareness, where are there afflictions? On the path of the fruit, where is there cause? On the path of permanence, where is there annihilation? And in annihilation, where is there permanence? Likewise, in the dharmata of self-liberated signs, It is said that there is no dharmata of speculation. Even this essence of the meaning of enlightenment, Through seeing by this king of secret mantras, The Hinayana (Lesser Vehicle) does not see other meanings. Through seeing, it is explained as the nature of the Dharmakaya (Truth Body). Realization is explained as the nature of spontaneous accomplishment. Knowing is explained as the nature of the Nirmanakaya (Emanation Body). Through understanding, it is shown as the Sambhogakaya (Enjoyment Body) itself. The dharmata of understanding and seeing, It is said that there is no obstruction to anything. Emaho! Like a precious jewel, In an inexhaustible treasure, a treasury of bliss is found. In the realm of emptiness, it is sealed with the seal of bliss. In the state of bliss, it is sealed with the seal of clarity. In the sphere of clarity, it is sealed with the seal of the body. The body itself is perfectly united in the sphere of the vajra. Bliss is enjoyed in the sphere of emptiness. Emptiness moves in the sky of bliss. It dissolves into the state of clear compassion. Dissolution is liberated in the true sphere. Liberation departs to the ultimate ground. Through thought, one enters the path of the vajra. That itself is united in the body of awareness. The end itself is united in self-liberation. The dharmata of self-liberation appears in the realm. Appearance operates at the end of the sky. The end itself enters the path of the vajra. The path of the vajra has no gathering or separation. The vajra body equal to space is united therein. The vajra body itself dissolves into the sphere. From dissolution itself, there is no return. There is no antidote to correct it.

From the Tantra of the Great Self-Arisen Wisdom (Rigpa Rangshar Chenpo'i Gyü), the chapter that explains the meaning of self-liberation of signs, which is the sixth. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets requested, saying: "O, O Bhagavan, possessor of great compassion, since the meaning of self-liberation of signs is such, please speak of the divisions of the bhumis and the time limits." Thus he requested. Then, again, the one possessed of great compassion spoke, saying: "O, Vajrapani, listen well! I will explain it well to you. Listen well without letting your mind wander elsewhere! Purify the three stains of the mind! Listen without interrupting awareness! The so-called bhumi is not something that exists separately. For a person who sees the truth, the bhumis and paths are complete and present in one's own being. Among them, the person who shows the introduction: First, when one sees the truth, the arising of joy is the first bhumi, the Very Joyful. Then, recognizing the appearance by oneself is the attainment of the second bhumi, the Stainless. Then, becoming accustomed to it is the third bhumi, the Illuminating Bhumi. Then, having become accustomed to it, seeing the appearance through light is the attainment of the fourth bhumi, the Radiating Light Bhumi. Then, having become accustomed to seeing the appearance of wisdom, all defilements are naturally purified, and seeing wisdom is the fifth bhumi, the Difficult to Subdue Bhumi. Then, seeing one body that has transcended light, and the body becomes manifest, is the sixth bhumi, the Manifest Bhumi. Then, the completion of habituation and the departure of defilements is the seventh bhumi, the Far-Going Bhumi. Then, abiding without wavering from that quality is the eighth bhumi, the Immovable Bhumi. Then, the perfection of qualities from that state is the ninth bhumi, the Good Intelligence Bhumi. Then, when one's own awareness grasps the appearance of wisdom, and the appearance arises freely, seeing the meaning of all dharmas as clouds, and becoming accustomed to it, is the tenth bhumi, the Cloud of Dharma Bhumi. Thus, by seeing the truth, one attains the bhumis without abandoning this very form. Those who have abandoned the form attain the bhumis in this way: when delusional appearances cease and the appearance of clusters of light arises, it is the eleventh, the All-Illuminating Bhumi. Then, without attachment to that appearance, and without being stained by all inner and outer dharmas, it is the twelfth, the Un-
