The answer should be given as follows: Because there is something to be taught, from teaching, the fruit will be obtained. Without teaching, how can liberation be achieved? The basis of Dharma has no characteristics, the path of Dharma has no attachment, the nature of the fruit is not obtainable. The basis of sentient beings and the basis of the Buddha, are definitely distinguished by one difference. Why is it distinguished by only one difference? Why is it called one difference? The basis of the Buddha has wisdom, the basis of sentient beings does not have wisdom. When Ye (ཡེ,梵文:ye,romanization: ye, meaning: yes) and She (ཤེས,梵文:jñāna,romanization: jñana, meaning: wisdom) are combined, it is the noble thought of the Buddha. Therefore, what difference is there with others? Some consider that to be the Dharmakaya of the Alaya. To answer and teach that, what is the characteristic of the Alaya? Then the answer was spoken: Because everything is complete, it is the Alaya. Then, with the words of the question, refute: Is it possible for the Buddha to change? Why does the Alaya appear in various ways? Because it is complete in everything. Sentient beings are the kind of Buddha. Why is it complete in everything? Or will the Buddhas become alternating? Why do various things appear? Sometimes it becomes a Buddha, sometimes it becomes a sentient being. Why is there alternation? Then, refuting the question, it is said: Then, does the Alaya not exist? Then the question was answered: The Alaya is attached to conceptual thoughts, and is deceived by various kinds of knowledge. The Alaya is the substance of ignorance, and that is also called the Alaya. Thus, in the Great Tantra of Self-Arisen Wisdom, the chapter on refuting all externalists, the sixty-ninth chapter is completed. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets requested as follows: Kye! Kye! Blessed One, All-Knowing One, please speak the meaning of the secret mantra to us, the assembly of devotees. Thus he requested. Then again, it was said: Kyema! Lord of Secrets, listen! To liberate sentient beings from great suffering, listen well to the method of liberation. The true mandala is inconceivable. Here, those great meanings have been revealed. Listen with the meaning of self-arisen wisdom. By repeatedly revealing the meaning, truly understand the depths of wisdom. The sign of realization by great wisdom, abides in equality like the sky. The sign of pervasion by great wisdom, is in unwavering samadhi, unconditioned. The sign of accomplishment by great wisdom, is without attachmen

When acting with the earth, it is accomplished with great wisdom. The intention of all Buddhas is to be known with great wisdom. With great wisdom, in an instant, all dharmas are made to enter the heart. The meaning of wisdom is present in everything, therefore great wisdom is spoken of. These dharmas are like this: without birth, there is no cessation; without grasping, there is self-liberation; without object, there is no elaboration; uncreated, yet present in everything. Unconditioned, the pure realm, separate from the differences of grasping, without inherent existence, therefore beyond expression. The true nature of reality, the expanse of awareness, pervades all, hence the nature of the Father; creating all, hence the realm of the Mother; unshowable, hence the realm of light. Inexpressible wisdom, the great teachings appear unshowable. In the Dharmakaya, free from giving and taking, clear is the samadhi without object. Taught as the path of all Buddhas. From the wisdom of the Mother, the basis of all, arises the self-born wisdom of skillful means. In the very arising, there is no ceasing, it is the light of non-proliferation and non-contraction. From the center of the unconditioned expanse, the king of awareness, wisdom, goes forth. From the center of the expanse without birth and death, the clarity of the eye of wisdom is the one that pervades all. Abiding everywhere, radiating light. In the mandala of all play, unobstructed wisdom is purely clear. By the nectar of self-born wisdom, the diseases of ignorance and samsara are healed. Because of being free from all diseases, the nectar of the self-born mandala is clear. In that uncorrected, natural state, if giving and taking are not done, it is wisdom without gathering and scattering. In the wisdom of objects and fields, beings are guided by the noose of skillful means. Therefore, it is wisdom gone beyond. In the unobstructed play of the nature of reality, the expanse of Samantabhadra naturally arises. The intention is the expanse of great wisdom, grasping the nature of reality without accumulation, without thought, beyond speech and thought. Like the magical displays of the sky, it is said to be separate from the dharma of expression. The five lights pervade the realm of dharma, not falling into any direction, without limit, without inside or outside, vast and great. Like a pure, stainless crystal ball, it is said that appearances are without inherent existence. Like the moon in water, intestines, and mirages, it is neither something that does not exist, nor is it something that exists. Because it transcends both existence and non-existence, the enlightened one.
