大力量是获得灌顶的标志。能回忆起前世和来世。也能看见众生转世。能知晓他人的心。能与非人交谈。像这些一样，能获得一百零八种功德。这是从《智慧自生大根本续》中，开示灌顶功德的第七品。之后，秘密主再次这样禀告道： 哎呀，具有大悲心的（世尊），请开示未受灌顶的过患。 这样祈请道。 之后，青年勇士大力者开示道： 哎呀，朋友们，请听着。我将开示，请消除心中的分别念，不要散乱地听着。 未获得灌顶的过患是这样的： 在中阴时会感到害怕和恐惧， 也会有痛苦、障碍和失去正念。 在没有舍弃习气之身前，也不会被众生视为值得尊敬的，福德微小，寿命短促，生活资用匮乏，常有争端，出现诸多障碍。 一切事业都不会成功。 这是修持密咒而未获得灌顶的过患。 修持密咒的瑜伽士首先应当获得灌顶。 如果没有获得灌顶，即使是佛陀， 也无法在如来地转法轮。 如果没有转法轮，就无法以慈悲化身来利益众生。 因此，修持密咒者应当获得灌顶。 这是从《智慧自生大根本续》中，开示未获得灌顶过患的第八品。 之后，秘密主再次这样禀告道： 哎呀，哎呀，世尊善巧方便！ 灌顶的相是那样的， 请开示誓言的差别。 这样祈请道。 誓言之主开示道： 哎呀，金刚手，听着。 从所说十万誓言部中， 不可思议的誓言， 宣说归纳为两种。 师父和弟子二者， 普遍称为守护之因。 守护之因是师父， 守护者是弟子。 对此，行为是融入物质。 首先应当观察师徒关系。 师父是持有智者血统的， 不懂装懂，傲慢自大。

Great power is the sign of obtaining empowerment. One will remember past and future lives. One will also see beings taking rebirth. One will know the minds of others. One will converse with non-humans. Like these, one will obtain one hundred and eight qualities. This is from the Great Root Tantra of Self-Arisen Awareness, the seventh chapter, which reveals the benefits of empowerment. Then, the Lord of Secrets again requested thus: O compassionate one, please reveal the faults of not receiving empowerment. Thus he requested. Then, the Youthful Hero Powerful One spoke: O friends, listen. I will teach, so dispel mental fabrications and listen without distraction. The faults of not having received empowerment are like this: In the bardo, there will be fear and dread, There will also be suffering, obstacles, and loss of mindfulness. Until the body of habit is abandoned, one will not be seen as worthy of respect by beings, one will have little merit, a short life, meager resources for living, frequent disputes, and many obstacles will arise. All activities will not succeed. These are the faults of not receiving empowerment for practicing secret mantra. Yogis who practice secret mantra should first obtain empowerment. If one does not obtain empowerment, even a Buddha, Will not be able to turn the wheel of Dharma on the ground of the Tathagata. If one does not turn the wheel of Dharma, one will not be able to benefit beings with a compassionate emanation body. Therefore, those who practice secret mantra should obtain empowerment. This is from the Great Root Tantra of Self-Arisen Awareness, the eighth chapter, which reveals the faults of not obtaining empowerment. Then, the Lord of Secrets again requested thus: O, O, Bhagavan, skillful in means! Since the aspects of empowerment are such, Please explain the distinctions of vows. Thus he requested. The Lord of Vows spoke: Alas, Vajrapani, listen. From the hundred thousand sections of vows spoken, The inconceivable vows, Are said to be condensed into two aspects. The guru and the disciple, Are universally known as the cause of protection. The cause of protection is the guru, The protector is the disciple. In this, conduct is the absorption of substances. First, the relationship with the guru Should be examined. The guru is one who holds the lineage of the wise, Ignorant and greatly arrogant.
