Spreading countless lapa. This is from the Great Root Tantra of Self-Arisen Wisdom, Chapter Fifty-Nine, the Emanation Activity. Then, the Lord of Secrets again requested, saying: O Bhagavan Vajradhara, Having performed such emanation, Please speak of the ultimate mandala. Thus he requested. Then, again it was taught: O great assembly, listen! I will explain well, do not be distracted, hold it. The difference between realization and non-realization is: The difference between seeing and not seeing. The difference of seeing the view is: The wisdom of seeing and habituation is: Not having attachment to anything, This is how the measure of seeing is grasped. When the sky is completely pure, The power of the eye is not obstructed, In the center of the sky, suchness, The lamp of the realm of reality is pure, Seeing the king of awareness, To become habituated to that, Is seeing one's own view. It is important to become greatly habituated to that. Then, when appearances arise, With one's own great awareness, If examined, from the appearance of wisdom, Body and wisdom arise without partiality. The way it arises is like this: First, like a mirror mandala, In that, appearances arise in fragments, From that, it appears like a country, From that, it appears filling the sky. Whatever appears, in the mandala of light, When the form body is seen arising from it, All the mandalas of the body, Arise from oneself and emanate from oneself. All the appearances filling the sky, The nature of seeing is unobstructed. The sign of wisdom going to the sky, In the mandala of self-nature, Because the body of essence arises, That which arises is oneself. The Buddha's intention is the Dharma of measure, In the true meaning, the Thus-Gone One. This is shown as the measure of habituation. This is from the Great Root Tantra of Self-Arisen Wisdom, Chapter Sixty, the Signs and Measures. Then, the Lord of Secrets again requested, saying: Great Teacher, what is meant by "mind"? Please prophesy, Teacher. Thus he requested. Then, again it was taught: Its divisions are like this: Like the "mind" that gathers various things, Like the "mind" of a pig, pure and spotless, Like the "mind" of a brave and steadfast tiger, Like the "mind" of a light feather, Like the "mind" of moving wind, Like the "mind" of a muddy swamp, Like the "mind" of a spreading spark, Desire

Like a bird's mind, like a flourishing branch's mind, like a hard-to-give-up garzan (food) mind, like a crazy person's mind without attachment, there are eleven kinds. Then again, this is explained in detail: the mind is that which gathers all habits; the mind is that which arouses all habits; the mind is that which accumulates all afflictions; the mind is the basis of all habits, and these habits are difficult to resist, causing one's own appearance to diminish. It exists together with ignorance, and ignorance is like this: the root is the ignorance of the mind, confusion is the ignorance of the object, the basis of confusion is the fundamental ignorance, attachment is the ignorance of discrimination, fabrication is the ignorance of the path, not understanding is the ignorance of delusion. In this way, six kinds of ignorance arise, so that one cannot see one's own appearance. This is also like this: the root is the ignorance of the mind, which is the actual co-emergent. Not recognizing the original wisdom of awareness, confusion arises, thinking: did this appearance of wisdom arise from me? Is this not my appearance? Such a thought arises. The arising of thought is the root ignorance that is co-emergent, because the thought of clinging to self arises, and thus confusion arises. It obscures the appearance of awareness and wisdom. This is called the root ignorance of the mind. Now, the confusion that is the ignorance of the object is taught, and confusion is caused by the previous confusion. The object is that before the world was formed, a tree called the Wish-Fulfilling Tree grew, which was a tree that arose from the blessing of the Buddha's Youthful Vase Body, and the heat that arose from the egg, and one thing born from moisture, and from it arose a naturally arising wisdom, from which the Saha world was formed. This is called the confusion that is the ignorance of the object. The basis of confusion is the fundamental ignorance, which arises from one's own impurity. First, it is called the causal condition, and ignorance actually arises, and because the basis is not understood, it is ignorance. From this arises what is called the objective condition, which is the confusion that is the ignorance of the object. From this arises what is called the dominant condition, and attachment to the tree arises. From this arises what is called the immediate condition, and knowledge becomes coarse, and thus grasping is grasped. From this, afflictions become coarse, and this is called the fundamental ignorance that is the basis of confusion. Attachment is the discriminating
