Thus it was asked. O! O! Bhagavan, Body of Wisdom! If the delusion of the Bardo is like that, What is the condensed essence of the view Of Ati Yoga, the Great Perfection? Great Hero, please bestow your teachings! Thus it was asked. Then again, the teachings were bestowed: Aho! Listen, Lord of Secrets! Listen with unwavering attention to what I teach! The Vajra itself is an unchanging place, The Dharmakaya is without conceptualization, Without characteristics, it is liberated in its own place. In the essence of the unchanging Ati, There is no dharma of doing and not doing. In Ati, the Great Perfection, One is complete, two are complete, everything is complete. In the essence of Ati, the Great Perfection, All the outer, inner, and secret dharmas are complete. There is no virtue to be done, no sin to be abandoned. The awareness that is free from both virtue and sin is the Dharmakaya. Do not do good, for doing it will not result in Buddhahood. Do not abandon evil, for abandoning it will not lead to the attainment of Buddhahood. If all sentient beings of the three realms are killed, enlightenment will be swiftly attained. If both father and mother are killed and abandoned, Pure wisdom will be seen. Killing is not a sin; if it is, there is no Buddhahood. Abandoning killing turns one's back on Buddhahood. The Buddhas of the three times were liberated by killing. If one does not kill, Buddhahood will not arise. Since the mandala of the self-existing deity dwells within oneself, Do not offer worship to the deities; offering worship becomes a bond. Offerings, mudras, and the like are obscurations to the body. Do not change the mudras; changing the mudras causes the loss of precious jewels. Do not draw mandalas; drawing mandalas causes the loss of one's own suchness. The Buddha's intention is free from doing and not doing. Samadhi, meditation, and the like are obscurations to the Buddha's body. Do not meditate; meditating is a confused thought. Do not accomplish Buddhahood; accomplishing it becomes effort. Do not abandon samsara; abandoning samsara does not lead to Buddhahood. Since the Buddha is not elsewhere, there is nothing apart from awareness itself. Samsara is not elsewhere; everything is contained within one's own mind. Do not do constructed merit; doing it becomes a bond. Stupas, temples, and the like, constructed merit should be abandoned. Dharmas that are made are not attained by making, but are attained by letting go. The yogi who has abandoned activity is the Thus-Gone One. The path of perfect Buddhahood should be known to all in this way. Alas! Listen, assembly of the gathered ones! I am without
