Listen! What do you think of non-arising and non-ceasing? The objects of grasping and being grasped are naturally empty. Non-arising and non-ceasing are free from extremes. For the sake of the compassionate one seeking purification, Do not see the duality of self and sentient beings. The nature is one, without duality. The nature of mind is unborn, Held by compassion, there is no sign. Why do you not have great compassion? This is the true and profound great matter. The greatest of the great is the profound. The meaning of greatness is equality. There is no enlightenment, and there is no lower realm. Therefore, duality is absent in the realm of Dharma. The Dharma realm is non-dual, a treasure of qualities. There is nothing to praise about qualities. Do not adorn the ocean of qualities with embellishments. Things do not move as they are, The nature of Dharma is like the reality of the sky. All faults are completely purified. The objects of action are naturally empty. Because there is no action, the nature is liberated. In the state of great peace, Therefore, the nature is inherently liberated, It does not come from elsewhere. Self-born wisdom is not to be sought, The holy Dharma that is not sought is peace. Having been liberated, it also shows the path of liberation. Because of appearance, it is great liberation, Liberation and non-liberation are non-dual. Samsara is Nirvana itself, There is no fabrication of duality here. Whoever sees it like this, Is the victor in the battle of signs. Whoever holds it like this, Is the Buddha, the son of the victor. Thus it is said. From the great king of tantras, the great sutra of the mind of enlightenment, the second chapter on the nature of Dharma. Then, the assembly asked: Great Bodhisattva, what is the meaning of saying that all phenomena that appear in this way are naturally enlightened? We wish to hear, please explain it to us extensively. Alala Ho! Thus they asked. Then, the Vajra of the Mind of Enlightenment spoke thus: Listen, assembly of attendants! All of samsara is enlightenment, the great elements are the Bhagavan. Earth, water, fire, wind, and space are great. Their true meaning is naturally enlightened, and they are pure in appearance. All sentient beings are naturally liberated. Therefore, the nature of Dharma is liberated. The nature abides in all beings. Because it is not known, no one can defile it. There is no arising of confusion in it. It does not follow inverted views. It is not defiled by inversion.

Yang! Liberation is self-nature, not from others. True wisdom is pure, all phenomena are inherently empty. Therefore, self-nature is Bhagavan. Thus it is said. Emaho! Son of the Victorious One, supreme in virtue, treasure of the hearts of all the Victorious Ones. Proclaims the lion's roar, reveals the secret mantra, body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas. Wonderful and great, we prostrate. Thus it is requested. From the great king of tantras, the great teaching of the mind of enlightenment, the third chapter, the chapter on self-nature. Then, the assembled retinue asked the great Bodhisattva: How shall we attain the meaning of wisdom? How is the method? What is the meaning? How is the cause of attainment? Then, Bodhicitta Vajra spoke thus: All dharmas are equally perfect, spontaneously accomplished, completely perfect, therefore a treasure of jewels. In the emptiness of self-nature, without objectification, the self-nature of the base of all is emptiness. All things are peaceful. Not seeing this is suffering, the self-nature of suffering revolves in samsara. Not knowing this is childish, thus obscured in cold. The supreme light of the sun is obscured by clouds, desiring to contemplate it because of the cold. Although one tries to blow away the clouds with one's own power, how can the clouds be dispelled? By the characteristics of examining things, the meaning of emptiness is not given. Therefore, great virtue is supreme, great wisdom is difficult to attain. Deep, subtle, and difficult to understand. The nature of reality is not found, shown as illusion. When illusion appears, where are things in it? Illusion appears from the teaching of wisdom. Like a magician, creating various streams of beings. In illusion there are no beings, wisdom is taught for the sake of beings. Where is the nature of reality in wisdom? Wisdom is accomplished by relying on skillful means. Enjoyment, the nature of reality is non-objective, is equality. The three times are non-objective, the supreme of meaning. Existing only in name, it is taught and seen. Self-awareness wisdom is great bliss, seeing oneself in oneself is bliss. Although it seems like teaching to others only in name, it does not come from others, it is that very nature. Manifest bliss arises from oneself, whatever bliss is, is emptiness. Seeing thus is purity, purity is liberation. Thus it is said. Emaho!
