Then, all those present asked Vajra Bodhicitta: "What is the meaning of purifying the practice of the ocean of karma?" Vajrasattva replied: "Because the nature of reality is profound and true, one should not wish for purification in this. The Victorious One has said that this is the ultimate of the sacred. In this ultimate body of nirvana, meditate on emptiness for a long time. The three realms of suffering are the field of enlightenment. For the sake of accomplishing the teachings of the Victorious Ones, whenever the sons of the Victorious Ones show it well, whoever enters into the supreme enlightenment, what Dharma will they accomplish? For the sake of dwelling in equality, abandoning the extremes of grasping and clinging, abandoning both selflessness and equality, not grasping, giving is the torma, without action, all actions are seized. Conceptualization is the ocean of samsara. Having attained mastery, without conceptualization, dispel obstacles. Outwardly and inwardly, holding onto Dharma is the nature of obstacles. Freedom from grasping and clinging is enlightenment. The sun of wisdom is the realm of Dharma. Having dispelled the obstacles of conceptualization and wisdom, unspeakable, samadhi, is the mantra. Supreme equality is peace." Thus he spoke. From the Great King of Tantras, the Great Sutra of the Bodhicitta, the chapter on non-practice, the twenty-ninth, is complete. Then, all those assembled in that assembly asked the noble Bodhisattva: "Great Bodhisattva, what is the pacification of attachment and aversion?" The noble Bodhisattva replied: "For those who practice with signs, it is the nature of reality. The power of Dharma is the way to pacify the world. The abodes of sentient beings are completely pacified. This supreme and noble enlightenment, with skillful means, is the nature of reality, and is always nirvana. Since there is no inherent attachment, the essence of self-awareness is the cause of Buddhahood. Offering to the guru and giving, as well as all merits, if there is no power of non-attachment and non-movement, then what is done becomes a great bondage. The meaning of the essence of the abode of bliss of enlightenment, offering the nature of reality is giving precious things. The meaning of vajra is indestructible. The nature of reality is unborn, and all aspects of phenomena are like that. Thus, peace is merit." Thus he spoke. From the Great King of Tantras, the Great Sutra of the Bodhicitta, the chapter on pacifying attachment and aversion, the thirtieth, is complete. Then, all those assembled in that assembly asked the great Bodhisattva: "Great Bodhisattva, what is the inexpressible suchness that is indicated by symbols?"

Vajra the Brave declared: Liberation is of one taste, nirvana. Ultimately, it is eternally one, like the sky. This wisdom is difficult to know, children do not understand it. Because they do not know, they become doubtful. From this, they decline and wander. Just as a mass of clouds obscures the supreme light of the sun, ignorant and foolish children obscure the true and pure mandala. Like the rain of clouds, which is of one taste, the three times are also of the nature of reality. All sentient beings are manifestly complete, and the suffering of sentient beings is completely pure. In order to see that which is perfectly pure, it is the one true equality. That is liberation, nirvana. Because it is always the abode of enlightenment, therefore equality itself is without inequality. There is no desire and no hatred. There is never any attachment. There is no friendship or attachment to anyone. There, it is obscured. Thus, if one realizes it from that, there is no self-establishment in it. Only suchness is established. Thus it is said. From the Great King of Tantras, the Sutra of the Great Discourse on the Mind of Enlightenment, the thirty-first chapter, "The Indescribable Thusness." Then, those assembled in that assembly asked Bodhicitta Vajra, saying: What is the meaning of thusness, with and without characteristics? The noble being replied: Just as the pure light of the sun and moon shines equally on people, whether virtuous or sinful, there is no birth or decrease in it. Likewise, the nature of reality has wisdom. With equanimity, like the sun and moon, without excess or deficiency, all sentient beings gather purely. Just as a potter makes various vessels from clay, and fills them with different substances, so they are called by different names. Likewise, there is no difference between sentient beings and Buddhas. Because there is no difference, they are Sugatas. Although various vehicles are taught, they all converge on the supreme vehicle, the vehicle of the Victorious Ones. Because they do not know the wheel of beings, they do not know the pure nature of reality. Because all phenomena abandon their self-nature and are known to be empty in purity, the enlightenment of the peaceful Buddha, the Bhagavan, should be known as the true nature. All phenomena are realized as the perfect Buddha, like a blind person.
