In detachment from peace. For the sake of spontaneously accomplishing dwelling in unborn bliss. By abiding in this place free from discourse, This yogi is fortunate. The nature of reality is like the treasury-filled sky, Because yoga is the nature of reality. Because there is no self or other, One does not act for self or others, Enjoying the realm of illusion, spontaneously accomplished. Although anything appears from the un abiding sphere, The appearance is a great illusion. By enjoying the realm, it is spontaneously accomplished. The objects of external grasping, Therefore, the objects of grasping, Are not naturally accomplished, Therefore, consciousness is also not accomplished. Thus it is said. From the great king of tantras, the great sutra of the mind of enlightenment, the chapter on being free from all expressions, the twentieth chapter is completed. Then, the assembly gathered there requested the noble bodhisattva as follows: Great Bodhisattva, what is the meaning of unchanging suchness? The noble bodhisattva replied: Like the sky, truly without change, Like the sky, without end or center, Like the sky, without center or end, The nature of reality without form is the essence of the sky. Because it is pure from the beginning, free from extremes, Because it does not arise from anywhere, it is the nature of reality, Because there is nothing left, it is completely perfect, Because there is no change, it abides upright. Wisdom without object is like the sky, Self-nature is infinite, great equality. Object, thought, speech do not arise or change, The nature of reality without equal, Is realized through one's own power, Equality is not cultivated from another. Therefore, because cultivation is meaningless, The Dharma does not arise. Because from the beginning, not even a particle is perceived, It is very difficult to traverse the field of activity. In the true, single nature of reality, It is difficult to distinguish separate dharmas. Easy and difficult, difficult because it is easy, The peaceful nature of reality is devoid of substance, Manifestly abiding, pervading all. The nature of reality is without characteristics, Because the nature of reality has no object of focus, It is not to be seen by the senses. Because it is without object and pervasive, it is suchness, Manifest compassion pervades all. In the profound nature of reality, All objects of focus are completely absent, Worldly children are not skilled, Like rabbit horns and turtle hair, Sky flowers and barren women, If one desires to see them, These are the fields of activity of children. Because it abides from the beginning without attainment, Manifestly

Because of the singularity of manifestation, merely indicating this name, even Vajrasattva cannot exemplify it. Thus it was said. From the Great King Sutra, the Great Treatise on the Mind of Enlightenment, the twenty-first chapter, 'The Immutable Nature of Reality.' Then, the assembled retinue there entreated the noble Bodhisattva thus: 'Great Bodhisattva, what is the cause of arising without having truly practiced?' The noble Bodhisattva replied: 'This true meaning is supreme, because there is utterly no cause, condition, or result. It is invisible, peaceful, like the nature of space. This wondrous and marvelous play is like unconditioned space. All-Good, endowed with body, speech, and mind. The Blessed One abides equally in the nature of reality. The unconditioned, wondrous, and peaceful nature itself. This illusory play of emanation is a marvelous and unchanging activity. Because the uncreated nature of reality abides in peace, nothing is perceived in ignorance. Immediately, it arises naturally from it. The nature of ignorance is truly emptiness, peaceful like the nature of space. Wisdom, ignorance, and the realm of reality. Therefore, nothing is perceived in ignorance. Immediately, it arises naturally from it. Because the characteristics of sentient beings are emptiness, whatever liberation and purity there may be, this is the path of equality for all. Because it is the essence of all beings, it abides in the nature of all beings. Because ignorant children are deluded, they seek the true meaning from elsewhere, like medicine itself seeking a doctor. Just as the characteristics of a patient are pacified by medicine and a doctor, the nature of reality is purified by peace.' Thus it was said. From the Great King Sutra, the Great Treatise on the Mind of Enlightenment, the twenty-second chapter, 'The Nature of Reality Not Formed by Causes and Conditions.' Then, the assembled retinue there entreated the Vajra of the Mind of Enlightenment thus: 'Great Bodhisattva, how is it that all phenomena, having become Buddhas, transform sentient beings into great purity?' The noble Bodhisattva replied: 'Because all samsara is the essence of the Mind of Enlightenment, which is Buddhahood, because of bliss and peace without action, not looking to the grasped and the grasper, the world is pure, All-Good. In the realm of understanding, there is great bliss. That itself is the pure world. The above and below of the abodes of the ten directions. All of those are known as names. Relying solely on illusory names.'
