In order not to take manifest wisdom, not taking and not abandoning is equality. Because of not taking, therefore it is selfless, not abandoning, being beyond words is equality. The lion of speech has no place, so not abandoning thoughts is equality. The past and future times are pacified, no matter where, no matter what, no matter to what, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, like benefiting oneself and others, in order to arise inexhaustibly from self-nature purity, arising from all cycles and all actions. In the nature of Samantabhadri of Dharmadhatu, the Victorious Ones are equal to the world, in this, it is not said to be male or female, the King of Equality has not said it. Likewise, the Teacher, the Victorious One, also abides equally in the meaning of equality, abiding peacefully like the sky. Thus it is said. In the great commentary on the King of Tantras, the Great Bodhicitta, the seventeenth chapter on gaining freedom in equality is complete. Then the assembled retinue, respectfully prostrated to the holy Bodhisattva, and asked: Great Bodhisattva, what is the meaning of happiness and all dharmas being without difference? After asking, the holy Bodhisattva taught: Listen, assembled retinue, sentient beings do not understand because of confusion, in order to see happiness and suffering, therefore they experience happiness and suffering, they only experience it because of confusion. In the purity of Dharmata's own nature, because there is no happiness or suffering, whatever one practices with asceticism, like a person with little mindfulness, because they do not know hatred and love, they see everything as without love, there is no place to dwell, and there is no name. Likewise, this holy Dharmadhatu, because it is free from all expressions, all A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A) the emptiness of self-nature is, in the pure Samantabhadra Dharmadhatu, by practicing and guarding asceticism, one cannot see the true meaning, and various sufferings arise. Practicing in this way is a great bondage. Everything is unborn, self-nature is peaceful, A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A) and Pa (Tibetan: པ, Devanagari: प, Romanized Sanskrit: pa, Literal meaning: Pa) are complete, wisdom is unborn and peaceful, seeing it in this way appears, and why is that? Because self-nature is not definite, because not abandoning attachment, faults appear, searching in all confusion is a fault, the appearance of desire, diligence, mind, and happiness are also, that is a defilement and has faults. The letters of the means of traversing the path

Nga. Holding images and meditating on rituals. Holding names, forms, and retinues. Because the nature of reality is devoid of inherent existence, meditating in this way is childish. The gate of all branches of enlightenment. Meditating on rituals is like the moon in water. Even meditating in this way is flawed. Even though arising without defilement or attachment, meditating on it is the domain of children. With the wrathful expression of the mandala ritual, holding the body of the great wrathful lord, even if letters appear, it is the nature of peace, the supreme one. The very nature of being, the reality of purity. That very peace is not seen. The King of Equality spoke thus. From the Great Sutra of the Great King of Tantras, the Mind of Enlightenment, the eighteenth chapter, "Abandoning Bliss and Attachment," is complete. Then, the assembled retinue there asked the Vajra of the Mind of Enlightenment, saying: Great Bodhisattva, how does one become a Buddha through all the phenomena of names? The Great Bodhisattva replied: This profound nature of reality, difficult to find, is the complete enlightenment of all, the pure and spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya. Like cutting off the head of a palm tree, like burning a seed with fire, the nature of reality is devoid of the state of peace. Liberation is the cessation of the nature of suffering. No matter how many hundreds of thousands of myriads of names arise, they all arise without conceptualization. Because one should not focus on the directly perceived nature of reality, equality cannot be attained from anywhere. The nature of reality, bondage, and liberation are all Samantabhadra. By the power of being without characteristics, just as a wish-fulfilling jewel, if possessed by someone with merit, fulfills whatever needs are desired. Because characteristics do not arise from the immeasurable pure nature of reality, this abode does not change. Because the nature of reality does not change into characteristics, the nature of reality does not arise from others, it is the pure nature without cause. Thus he spoke. From the Great Sutra of the Great King of Tantras, the Mind of Enlightenment, the nineteenth chapter, "The Spontaneous Accomplishment of All Phenomena of Names," is complete. Then, the assembled retinue there asked the Vajra of the Mind of Enlightenment, saying: Great Bodhisattva, what is the meaning of the state of suchness, beyond expression? The Great Bodhisattva replied: The unborn realm of phenomena speaks
