May the activities of Vajra life be accomplished. May the unchanging life empowerment be obtained. Thus, from the Tantra of the Great Perfection of Spontaneous Arising, the eighteenth chapter, the Empowerment of Longevity. Complete. In the language of India: Adama Asuga Abhishecana Nama. In the Tibetan language: Called the Secret Empowerment of the Mandala of One's Own Body. Homage to the Bhagavan who is liberated from the scriptures. Then, at that time, in the midst of an inconceivable assembly, Vajrasattva, abiding in the samadhi of the lion's majestic posture, empowered Vajrapani, and declared thus: Ema, Secret Lord Vajradhara. All sentient beings of the three realms, being immature and unliberated, are difficult to liberate. Because they are bound by the defilements of grasping and being grasped. Since all are difficult to liberate, therefore. You should hold the prophecy of the empowerment that perfects the mandala of one's own body. Then, the Vajra Holder, rising from the seat of bliss, joyfully clapped his hands together. Generating the force of compassion, generating effort, revealing the radiance of joy, opening the door of desire. Having obtained supreme wisdom, he inquired of Vajradhara about the meaning: Kye Kye, Bhagavan Vajradhara. Please speak of the great means of empowerment to ripen sentient beings. Then Vajradhara spoke: Kye ma, listen, Vajradhara. Relying well on the means of secret mantra, perfect the empowerment and the stages. If you can recognize the empowerment of your own body, in a very secluded place. A mandala of one cubit square. Pegs and so forth should be placed, and various colors should be well painted. In the center, a circular circumference, should be on top of a skull cup. Eight lotus petals are very beautiful. Some open and some unopened, intertwined with lotuses and so forth. One should imagine various lotuses. The outer layer is a circle of five lights. The outer layer is a square with doors. The outer layer is the shape of a circular vase. With mouth, eyes, and hair. Having drawn the mandala in this way, the substances should be well arranged. The tsok and torma are the same as before. In the very center of the mandala. Male and female skull cups should be pure. Peacock, mirror, white bodhicitta. On the outer lotus. Red bodhicitta and wrathful form. Having accumulated the substances in this way, the empowerment activities.
