如口中降临般，宣说咒语的作用。 持诵密咒能消除错觉妄念，明咒能消除无明，陀罗尼咒能消除失忆。 持诵咒语能唤醒世间和出世间的生命力，迅速成就悉地。 咒语的象征有三种：密咒的象征是男神，明咒的象征是女神，陀罗尼咒是父母双运。 阐述特征有四种：智慧和慈悲，是密咒的特征。智慧和本智，是明咒的特征。智慧和忆念，是陀罗尼咒的特征。持诵咒语的特征是，所说是声音的自性。 成就两种悉地，那是咒语的利益。不具足咒语的过患是， желаемые 愿望都不能实现。 殊胜咒语、咒语之主、明咒之王，密咒之王能成办 великие 大事。 手印的意义有两种：深奥的意义和广说。 对于各种显现的诸法，以无生之印封印，那是意义深奥的手印。 广说有八种意义：体性、词义、分类等，特征、比喻和手印的因，利益、不具足的过患。 体性是伟大的自性，是具有相的形象，是心所幻化的供品，是无相的自性。 词义是“穆扎”（藏文音译）之声，表示能作和成办，为了束缚解脱和增长，所以说是手印。 分类有简略和广繁，简略的有两种：有相的手印和无相的手印。 广繁的分类有四种：大手印、三昧耶印，法和事业的手印。 应宣说手印的特征，有相手印的特征是，不离各自的意义，显示为伟大自性的象征。 无相手印的特征是，任何也不成立的本体。 大手印的特征是，完全圆满空性无我。三昧耶是心之象征，法是法的象征，事业是利益众生的特征。

As if descending from the mouth, explaining the function of mantras. Reciting secret mantras dispels delusion and conceptualization, vidya mantras dispel ignorance, and dharani mantras dispel memory loss. Reciting mantras awakens the life force of the world and beyond, quickly accomplishing siddhis. The symbols of mantras are threefold: the symbol of secret mantras is the male deity, the symbol of vidya mantras is the female deity, and dharani mantras are the union of father and mother. There are four characteristics to be explained: wisdom and compassion are the characteristics of secret mantras. Wisdom and primordial wisdom are the characteristics of vidya mantras. Wisdom and mindfulness are the characteristics of dharani mantras. The characteristic of reciting mantras is that what is spoken is the nature of sound. The accomplishment of two siddhis is the benefit of mantras. The fault of not possessing mantras is that desired wishes are not fulfilled. Supreme mantra, lord of mantras, king of vidya mantras, king of secret mantras accomplishes great deeds. The meaning of mudra is twofold: profound meaning and extensive explanation. For all the various appearing phenomena, sealed with the seal of no arising, that is the mudra of profound meaning. The extensive explanation has eight meanings: essence, etymology, classification, characteristics, example, the cause of mudra, benefit, and the fault of not possessing it. Essence is the great self-nature, transformed into a form with characteristics, offerings emanated by the mind, the self-nature of the formless. The etymology is the sound of "mudra," indicating that it performs and accomplishes, for the sake of binding, liberation, and increase, therefore it is said to be a mudra. The classification is brief and extensive, the brief has two: mudra with characteristics and mudra without characteristics. The extensive classification has four: Maha-mudra, samaya-mudra, dharma and karma mudra. The characteristics of mudra should be explained, the characteristic of mudra with characteristics is that it does not deviate from its own meaning and shows as a symbol of great self-nature. The characteristic of mudra without characteristics is that it is the essence of not being established as anything. The characteristic of Maha-mudra is that it is completely perfect emptiness and selflessness. Samaya is the symbol of the heart, dharma is the symbol of dharma, and karma is the characteristic of benefiting beings.
