Giving up, even giving up the five poisons is giving up taking and abandoning. Practicing, even practicing the three bodies is effortful practice. The absence of taking and abandoning is the essence of the sun and moon. Thus it is said. From the tantra of the supreme king of tantras, the blazing light of the sun and moon, the pure expanse of space, the ocean of realms, the clear tantra. Furthermore, in the essence of the sun and moon, the thirteenth chapter is the spontaneous completion of the nine vehicles without abandonment. Then, Clear and Pure Jewel, to the teacher who demonstrates unborn primordial purity, is there hope for mandala empowerment and accomplishment, or is it primordially complete? When asked thus, the teacher addressed the assembly: Furthermore, in the essence of the sun and moon, there is no accomplishment to be hoped for in the entering mandala. The mandala of the mind of the Dharma-nature Bodhicitta, is clear from the beginning, so there is no need to ask. In the pure expanse of space, the Dharma-realm mandala, the spontaneously arising assembly of deities of the essence is naturally clear. Now, the deities that are unborn and primordially complete, do not require invitation, offering, or praise, they are primordially complete within oneself. One does not hope for accomplishment from elsewhere, it is accomplished in one's own mind. One does not draw mandalas from elsewhere, it is complete in the mind. Earth-colored mandalas are created. All created mandalas will perish. Therefore, the mandala of the spontaneously arising mind, the three of nature, essence, and compassion, is the original first mandala. The three of desire, anger, and ignorance, are the mandala of the three Sugatas. The three of sentient beings' body, speech, and mind, are also the mandala of body, speech, and mind. The world of appearances and existence, the container and its contents, is the unpainted, luminous mandala. The beings, appearances, existence, and sentient beings, are the unborn, perfectly complete assembly of deities. Appearance is the mandala of the body. Sound is the mandala of speech. Memory and thought are the mandala of the mind. All the three thousand worlds, from the very beginning, are primordially pure. That great spontaneously arising light is the pure and unobstructed mandala. Since the mandala is complete in this way, there is no need to create it. In the essence of the Dharma-realm mandala, the spontaneously arising, unborn principal deity resides. In the luminous eastern mandala, the primordially pure and unobstructed assembly of deities dwells. In the southern nature mandala, the spontaneously arising Buddha deity also resides. In the west where afflictions and thoughts subside, the naturally clear young boy is primordially unborn.

Abides. To the north of the eighty-four thousand dharmas conceived by discrimination, The deities who are liberated from characteristics, also abide. Abides completely without origination. The five families are equal and particularly excellent. It is not abiding through effort and practice, But it abides from the very beginning. Because it abides from the beginning, it is not invited. Because it is pure from the beginning, defilements are not purified. Because it is pure from the very start, it is not offered to now. Because it is good from the beginning, praise is not needed. It abides in itself, without going or coming. If the meaning of what was said above is realized, Not straying from that is the samaya. If the meaning of primordial purity and non-arising is realized, Not straying from that is the samaya. If the meaning of namelessness and transcendence of expression is realized, Not straying from that is the samaya. If the meaning of insubstantiality and transparency is realized, Not straying from that is the samaya. If the meaning of non-action and transcendence of mind is realized, Not straying from that is the samaya. If the meaning of Yangti, the sun and moon, is realized, Not using it downward is the samaya. Samaya, samaya, what is called samaya, Is the samaya of non-arising and primordial purity. For example, like water and a crystal ball, Inside and out without blemish, pure from the beginning. For this, there is no need to specially protect and restrain, There is no hope for accomplishment from elsewhere, It is accomplished in one's own mind from the beginning. Accomplishment, accomplishment, what is called accomplishment, Reality is the essence of non-arising, Accomplishment is primordial purity and clear light. Reality is insubstantial and transparent, Accomplishment is the accomplishment of non-action beyond mind. Therefore, it is called accomplishment. The definition of the mandala above is also, For example, Mount Meru is in the center, The four continents and eight subcontinents are the retinue. The accumulation of the five elements in order is the center, The twelve subcontinents are the retinue. Outside of that, it is surrounded by an iron fence, The ground of five colors is arranged from the beginning. The four directions, four intermediate directions, and four doors exist from the beginning. In the mandala of the container world, The sentient beings are the assembly of deities. The assembly of Buddha deities spontaneously accomplished by nature. Without searching, effort, or practice, it is complete from the beginning. Mandala, mandala, what is called mandala, The center is the space of the essence, The surrounding is primordial purity and non-arising. The center is the basis from the beginning, The surrounding is existence, samsara, and nirvana. The center is the dharmadhatu, The surrounding is clear and pure light. Thus it is said. From the tantra "The Supreme Peak of Tantras, Sun, Moon, Blazing Light, Pure Space, Ocean of Clear Space Tantra", the place of Yangti.
