Now, do not act, rest in the state of non-doing! By resting in the state of non-doing, you will meet with action itself! Those who wish to protect me! Do not protect, rest in the state of non-passing! By resting in the state of non-passing, you will meet with the vow itself! Those who wish to seek me! Do not seek, rest in the state of non-effort! By resting in the confidence of non-effort, you will meet with activity itself! Those who wish to go to me! Do not go, rest in the state of non-difference! Those who wish to accomplish me! Do not accomplish, rest in the state of non-accomplishment! Those who wish to attain me! By means of non-attainment, let yourself rest in yourself! By resting in the un-restable, you will attain the great fruit! By resting in the unattainable, you will meet with the meaning of attainment! By resting in the un-meetable, rest in the unchanging state! All appearances, rest in the state of as-it-is! All reality, rest in the unchanging state! All elaborations, rest in the state of decisiveness! The essence, the nature of the Dharmakaya, is to rest in the state of non-appearance, without self-nature! All the appearances of objects that appear to the mind as thoughts, rest in the state of appearing but without self-nature! Those who are bound by the two appearances of grasping and grasper, rest in the state of no separation or calculation! All the memories and awareness of the mind's intellect, rest in the state of great self-luminosity! All the magical displays of the mind's thoughts, rest in the state of great self-liberation! All movements, awareness, and discriminations, rest in the state of great clear light! By the pith instructions of resting, the three are united! Awareness, rest in the state of unborn! Mind, rest in the state of non-movement! Heart, rest in the state of namelessness! All united into one, these three aspects of resting, because of non-attainment, these three kayas, subdue the three realms, and the three grounds are naturally subdued. The three poisons are uprooted, and the three realms are swept away with a broom. The essence, nature, and compassion are the appearances! Appearance and existence are united, the nectar essence drips. From the tantra that cuts off the beginning and end of samsara, the tenth chapter, the chapter on resting naturally, is complete. Then, to the mind itself, Samantabhadra, Vajrasattva asked this: To the unchanging essence, the Dharmakaya, how are names established for the nameless? The teacher of mind itself, Samantabhadra, entered the samadhi of blazing jewels of light. Then, arising, he spoke thus: The Dharmakaya is nameless and formless, and is led astray by names that can be expressed. I will explain the nature of straying and obscuration.

Then Vajrasattva thought in his mind: Since there is no Buddha, there is no name of Buddha. By thinking there is none, one misses the Buddha. Since there is no Dharmakaya, there is no name of Dharmakaya. By thinking there is none, one misses the Dharmakaya. Since there is no Sambhogakaya, there is no name of Sambhogakaya. By thinking there is none, one misses the Sambhogakaya. Since there is no Nirmanakaya, there is no name of Nirmanakaya. By thinking there is none, one misses the Nirmanakaya. Since there is no samsara, there is no name of samsara. By thinking there is none, one misses oneself. Since there is no nirvana, there is no name of nirvana. By thinking there is none, one misses oneself. Since there is no ignorance, there is no name of ignorance. By thinking there is none, one is confused by oneself. Since there is no wisdom, there is no name of wisdom. By thinking there is none, one is confused by oneself. Since there is no conceptual thought, there is no name of conceptual thought. By thinking there is none, one is confused by oneself. Since there is no suchness, there is no name of suchness. Wanting to prove there is none, one is naturally confused. Since there is no partiality, there is no name of partiality. Wanting to prove there is none, one is confused by oneself. All these are non-dual, holding onto duality is confusion. All these are inseparable, the arising of separation is obscuration. All these are inexpressible, the arising of expression is obscuration. All these are without names, giving names is confusion. All these are equal, holding onto one side is confusion. All these are without attachment, the arising of attachment is confusion. Not understanding the true meaning is obscuration. Mistaking the path is missing the way. Wandering in the five gates is confusion. Missing and obscuration, two thousand five hundred kinds, if divided in detail, are inconceivable, but in summary, they are all contained in these three. The union of appearance and existence is the essence of nectar. From the tantra that cuts the beginning and end of samsara, the chapter on showing the three of missing, obscuration, and confusion, the eleventh. Then, Vajrasattva asked the teacher Kuntuzangpo: How should one counteract missing and obscuration? After asking this, the teacher Kuntuzangpo merged into a bindu of precious light, and remained in samadhi. After arising, he said this to the retinue: I have taught many about the missing, obscuration, and confusion of the vehicle, so many that they cannot be spoken, they are inconceivable. Or they are explained in detail in the tantras, and they are recorded in detail in each person's mind. The missing and obscuration of the general yoga.
