If rigpa-emptiness is not liberated, one cannot completely shake off samsara from its depths. If the prince does not recognize his own rigpa, he cannot be liberated from the ocean of existence. To establish meaningless meditation as the basis, one cannot surpass ordinary self-continuum. Holding samadhi contemplation as the path, one binds oneself with dharma, wanting to go forward. If one does not liberate the reckoning of beginning and end, one will mistake it for the fault of the changing nature of reality. If samsara and nirvana are not pure from the beginning, appearances will become uncertain. If one does not have certainty and is doubtful, one cannot cross the perilous path of straying, obscurations, and confusion. If one cannot decide on hope and fear, acceptance and rejection, one will stray into the inferior path of cause and effect. If unwavering partiality is not exhausted, no matter how hard one tries, it will only be permanence and annihilation. Without realizing the nameless, boundless emptiness, practicing in the nine stages of cause and effect is suffering. Without knowing the inseparability of self-clarity, samatha and vipassana become the object of compassion. If the root of birth and death is not severed, accumulating the two accumulations and purification becomes an accomplice to self-grasping. If one does not realize the supreme Kuntuzangpo, one will not be liberated from appearances, thoughts, and clinging. Therefore, you, all-knowing little child, in the realm of thorough emptiness, ungrasping, beyond dharma, completely cut off partiality and elaboration! Throw the dharmas of the ground to the wind, sweep away the dharmas of the path with a broom, cast the dharmas of the fruit into the water, and carry the common ancestors of the philosophical systems to the cemetery. Thus it was said. From the tantra of the precious nectar essence, the union of the intentions of all the Buddhas, the ninth chapter, which identifies the faults of not realizing Kuntuzangpo and repeatedly proclaims them. Then, the secret lord, the teacher Vajrapani, spoke to the assembled retinue: My supreme Kuntuzangpo, is primordially liberated, impartial, and pure from the beginning. Although primordially liberated, in the relative nature, there is no duality of what is to be shown and what shows, but in order to represent the meaning for the fortunate ones who have not realized it, listen carefully to the instructions of introduction. Mind itself, which is primordially the dharmakaya, if one does not know the place of its first arising, the mother and child will not recognize each other, like a blind person wandering aimlessly. If one does not know the place of present abiding, one will not know how to take the essence, like a sparrow drilling into an empty hole. If one does not know the place of ultimate dissolution, one will not gain certainty about the meaning, like an empty talker going astray. Therefore, the place of first arising is the vast expanse of dharmadhatu, the precious, radiant palace, arising in unborn, primordially pure. The place of abiding in between is the citta, the precious palace.

Khang. In the midst of the eight channels and five purities, The palace of light, the ground of all. When the Dharmadhatu is deep, clear, and unwavering, Outer, inner, and secret retinues, Without making names of gathering and separation, In the three times, eternally abiding, The three kayas, the teachers of meaning, Reside without wavering or calculation. The means to introduce oneself to that very nature, The teacher and disciples, endowed with vessel and essence, Go to a solitary place, free from conditions. Abandoning the activities of body, speech, and mind, Offerings are made to the body that is the play of appearances. Body, speech, and mind are established as self-awareness. The five senses are kept unwavering and firm. Looking upwards into the clear and pure sky, Memory and awareness are cast into the sky and abandoned. The movements of the mind are killed as play. The nature of mind is kept deep, clear, and pure. Introducing the primordial Buddha, In the inconceivable temple, The all-pervading, insubstantial Dharmakaya, The true Buddha blazes in its own place. The means to introduce oneself to that very nature, Cutting off all dualistic clinging, The spontaneous, clear, and precious body, The essence of the bindu, self-recognition dawns. Introducing the clear and pure Sambhogakaya, In the self-pure, transparent palace, The stainless essence, primordial purity, abides. The means to introduce oneself to that very nature, The darkness of ignorance is clear and non-dual. The Dharmata, the precious primordial purity, the deity, The genuine, transparent, self-recognition dawns. Desiring that, the enjoyment of the complete Sambhogakaya is introduced. Introducing the ultimate Buddha, In the Dharmadhatu, the clear mandala of appearances, The non-dual, inherent Nirmanakaya abides. The means to introduce oneself to that very nature, Cutting off all desires and elaborations, Self-pure, self-liberated, without distinction, Whatever appears, free from attachment, clinging, rejection, and acceptance. Meeting with the non-dual Nirmanakaya, Seeing the meaning of one's own place, without hope, Liberated from the extremes of action, effort, hope, and fear. Showing the place of ultimate dissolution, In the state of the insubstantial, transcendent Dharma, In the realm of the vast, clear, and boundless sky, The mind of the all-knowing, unborn ground, beyond the base. The meaning beyond expression, thought, and partiality, In the body beyond, nameless, and empty of extremes, The Dharmakaya dissolves without limit. Beyond the realm of calculation and differentiation. Thus it was said. From the tantra, "The Precious Essence of Nectar Drops, the Union of the Intentions of All Buddhas," the tenth chapter: "Introducing Oneself to the Three Kayas of the Meaning of the Transcendent Dharma." Then, the Teacher, the Lord of Secrets, Spoke to the assembled retinue, Establishing the meaning of the general essence.
