From the Tantra Equal to Space: The Fifteenth Chapter, which divides into eighty-four thousand teachings. Then, Vajrasattva asked Kuntuzangpo: "This Dharma, which is condensed into nine vehicles, for what kind of beings to be tamed was it spoken?" Kuntuzangpo replied: "Although the nature of the essence of mind is one, the manifestations of its power are different, so there are three types of faculties: superior, middling, and inferior. For the sake of beings with superior faculties, the three stages of inner generation, completion, and ultimate stages are taught. For the sake of beings with middling faculties, the three stages of outer Kriya, Yoga, and Yoganiruttara are taught. For the sake of beings with inferior faculties, the three divisions of characteristic teachings are taught. Therefore, these nine levels of vehicles are spoken with consideration for the nine types of superior, middling, and inferior faculties." Thus it was said. The Jewel Light Razor completely cuts off deluded appearances at their root. From the Tantra Equal to Space: The Sixteenth Chapter, which teaches the condensed nine vehicles. Then, Vajrasattva asked Kuntuzangpo: "How can one know the teachings of other schools?" After asking this, Kuntuzangpo replied: "In the nameless and equal nature of the essence of mind, names are given by the awareness of the power of the branches. The nine vehicles are condensed into two: mundane and supramundane. Mundane refers to the teachings of the Tirthikas (non-Buddhists), which enter through the gate of unwavering purity and speculation. They uphold three vows for the body and four for speech, guarding seven vows of discipline. The views of the mundane Tirthikas number three hundred and sixty. From these, the condensed views are the sixty-two wrong views. There are eighteen who speculate on the past extreme, and forty-four who speculate on the future extreme. In total, there are sixty-four. From these, they are condensed into twenty, and from these, they are condensed into four: eternalism, nihilism, mutual dependence, and the pure Vedas. The view of eternalism is that because the nameless nature of the essence of mind is not realized, they consider the unrealized branch appearances to be real. They believe that effects exist without causes and are self-arisen. They believe in the great Ishvara (creator) who does everything. They believe that the eternal has measures of color and shape. The measure of color is white, bright, oily, and round. The measure is the size of a thumb, bean, or mustard seed. The size is connected to and exists with the body. The view of nihilism is that the heart

Those who have not realized the nature of reality are nihilistic views. The unceasing appearance is awareness. It is believed that awareness is a sudden phenomenon, and it is believed that awareness does not arise in the next life. The fruits of virtue and evil are in this life. Happiness and few diseases are the fruits of this life. The fruit of doing good is that itself. Unhappiness, suffering, many diseases, and short life are the ripened fruits of evil deeds. Since it comes in this life, there is no next life. Practice virtue and evil through the three doors of body, speech, and mind. It ripens and comes in this life. Therefore, one should abandon non-virtue and practice virtue. The fruits of virtue and evil are separate. They do not remain in the next life. The fruit is in the present. The common desire of the heretics is also because they do not know the unchanging nature of the Dharmakaya. From the differences in the knowledge of the branches and skills, the movement of awareness is the movement of the wind. The wind makes the essence and becomes the vessel of the veins. When the wind moves, happiness does not arise, and when it does not move, there is happiness. Because of the desire for happiness, the wind is blocked, and happiness is meditated upon. The view of the pure heretics of the Vedas is that because they do not know or realize the nature of the heart essence, in the clarity of the awareness of the phenomena and skills, it is believed that there is one pure essence of knowledge. The ultimate nature of knowledge does not change. The nature of permanence and annihilation transcends color and shape. It cannot be destroyed by conditions, and it is difficult to know by words. If it is examined by awareness, it is very easy to know. The one pure essence that is free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation is the view of the ultimate nature. Serve the five fires, practice bathing and cleanliness, and meditate on the extremes of existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation. When will the accomplished measure of human beings and gods be born as illusions? The ultimate fruit is born as human beings and gods. Each individual is born from great sins. The lineage of the gods, Mipam Gonpo, has seven lives of Shangka. The six divisions of the teachings have all explained the scriptures. Thus it is said. The precious, bright razor cuts off illusions from the root. In the tantra that is equal to space, the seventeenth chapter explains the vehicle of worldly heretics. Then Vajrasattva asked Kunsang these words: What is the Hearer Vehicle like? When he asked this, the teacher taught the retinue: Because they have not realized the nature of the essence of the Dharmakaya, the skillful appearance of awareness is the Hearer Vehicle, which enters through the door of the Four Noble Truths.
