Non-offering is equal to offering, because of the mind's nature without acceptance or rejection. Because all phenomena are of one nature, equality means there is no hierarchy of high and low. There is no making one into two, and there is no making acceptance or rejection in the mind. Buddhas and sentient beings are non-dual, and the guru's offering is non-dual and equal. Therefore, the guru is equal to the offering. There is no need to dedicate the offering, because the mind's nature is the Great Perfection, and because everything is spontaneously accomplished, there is nothing to dedicate. In the nature of primordial nectar, even those who have mastery over samadhi cannot purify it. Difficult and easy cannot be indicated, because this Dharma-nature Bodhicitta has no essence from the beginning. Merely indicating this with a name, all Buddhas of the three times and Vajrasattva cannot indicate it. Happiness and suffering have a common cause, because this heart-essence Bodhicitta has made two causes from the beginning. Happiness and suffering are definitely of the same cause. Thus it is shown, and it is said to be the five certainties. Uncertainties are of three kinds. What are they? Because the nature of Dharma is one, it appears as it is viewed. Therefore, there is no certainty of this in it. Because the mind of a child has no certainty, it seeks its own mind elsewhere. Therefore, it is uncertain. Because the nature of wisdom is uncertain, in each aspect of Yana, with the wisdom of number and aspect, one mind discerns each object separately. Therefore, wisdom is uncertain. Thus it is said. This is the chapter on explaining the meaning of the Sutra of Certainty. Then, in that great gathering of assemblies, that great Bodhisattva spoke this explanation of the meaning of the Sutra of Certainty. Listen now, great assembly of gatherings! Because there is no birth or death in the mind, there is nothing to meditate on in meaning. This heart-essence Bodhicitta transcends the realm of samadhi and thought, and abides in an unspeakable state. Thus, the heart-essence Bodhicitta, because it has become a lamp of instruction, is praised by all Buddhas. The essence of all Dharmas, the youthful Manjushri of wisdom, without action or effort, abides as it is in the realm of great bliss. There is no path to travel on, because the discipline of morality, vows, and conduct have become the basis of the ocean. However many paths of liberation there are, that is the mother of the Sugatas.

The path common to all beings, without the discipline of moral conduct, there is no realm of the Sugatas. Therefore, the supreme path of liberation is said to be without the discipline of moral conduct. The mind has no essence, it is the subtle and difficult to know path of all. Non-conceptualization transcends conceptualization, there is no object of characteristics, free from elaboration, free from all thoughts, it cannot be definitively stated in words, it is not the realm of shapes and colors, it is difficult to show and examine, there is not a speck to be said. The nature of reality cannot be expressed, it is the path of accomplishment of the ancient sages. Now, if one enters into what, one is seized by the disease of attachment to meditation. In the words of the teacher's teachings, if one sees it as the path, then one is entering the path of conceptualization, pursuing a mirage. The true path cannot be expressed in words and letters, the one who shows the true path, Vajrasattva, even I am confused. Purity and impurity, from the beginning are non-dual, mixed and the same, it is the abode of the nature of all minds. The aspect of purity and impurity, undifferentiated wisdom and ignorance, unobstructed wisdom, is free from all thoughts. The naturally unmoving stillness abides in the king of samadhi. Samadhi wisdom is the manifest eye, seeing and being free from the object of focus, it is called the eye of omniscience. The vastness without end or middle is the palace of the nature of reality. What cannot be added or subtracted, the king without acceptance or rejection, the essence of all is bodhicitta. Mind and habit are mixed and the same, the five senses of the mind, the appearing phenomena are five aspects. The five senses by their own causes, do not completely abandon. Do not think anything, enjoy with skillful means. The Dharma of abandonment that is different from all, the five afflictions and the five unequaled ones, this is great purity, wherever one abides, one obtains the kingdom of equality. One should not abandon the places of attachment such as women. Having placed history in the measuring intelligence, those three aspects of samadhi, practicing the extreme of accomplishment after stability, is said to be straying from the teachings without effort. Abiding on the mountain of effortless bliss, the essence is naturally self-arisen from the beginning, the nectar is already made from the beginning, destroying the suffering of effort, it is unmoving and unchanging from the beginning.
