。 །Wisdom Sun, Blessed One. །Please explain the meaning of self-origination. །Thus he asked. །Then, the Blessed One Vajrasattva Tathagata spoke as follows. །O Great Bodhisattva. Self-originated wisdom is free from cause and condition. །From the beginning, it is the supreme light of self-appearance. །It is not anything, yet it is clear to all. །Unbiased compassion pervades all. །It has no partiality, nor does it have any conceptualization. །Like the clear sun in the sky. །All the various inconceivable methods of taming. །Abide in the mind of self-originated awareness. །The doctrine of Dharma Realm, free from action and complete. །The secret treasury of awareness is the treasure of the heart. །The supreme bliss of body, speech, and mind. །All phenomena ripen into the expanse of awareness. །The self-illuminating wisdom that is without seeing. །Is the suchness that is without object and free from elaboration. །In the wheel of self-appearing awareness. །Objectless self-illumination is seen by awareness. །Do not conceive of the inconceivable awareness in any way. །Starless The Great Middle Way. །How it is not, is just as it is. །Thus, awareness itself is clear. །However, do not fabricate, it is just as it is. །In the conceptual thoughts that grasp the subtle and coarse. །No matter what kind of names arise. །That itself is the clear and pure sky of light. །Non-dual self-illumination ripens into one. །At the time of seeing, the meaning is not seen. །Because of not seeing, the meaning is seen. །Both are unfabricated, in self-knowing. །Seeing and not seeing do not follow. །Everything is in the nature of Bodhicitta. །The Dharma of wrong thought and effort does not abide. །Because self-origination does not enter into characteristics. །No matter how clear it is, it is free from focus. །With the yoga of no arising and entering. །Realize the meaning of suchness. །The eye of wisdom that is free from seeing and invisible. །All dharmas are clear as Bodhicitta. །Because the nature of Bodhicitta is vast with light. །Because it is without beginning or end, it abides as one. །Five desires, five objects, five attachments and aversions. །No matter what, because there is nothing other than mind. །That itself is not, nor is it other. །Samsara blazes as the light of wisdom. །With self-illuminating, non-entering awareness. །Determine the nature of non-seeing and entering. །With the unbiased clear wisdom. །The act of looking in a direction is subdued by power. །Because the first mind has no cause. །Ultimately, it transcends the boundaries of birth and death. །Self-originated Vajra has no birth or cessation. །Because it is complete at once, there is no gradual arising. །There is no moment, therefore it is free from continuity. །In the self-illuminating, manifest awareness. །Deceived by the falsehood of subsequent awareness. །That itself is the doctrine of self-illumination. །Old

Through the conditions of Bodhicitta awareness, possessing the wheel of swirling wisdom, knowing all kinds of transformations, abiding in the self-illuminating realm of space. Even the illusion of samsaric happiness and suffering, enters into the wheel of awareness and wisdom. There is nothing other than the self-arisen state, without gathering or scattering, it meets within itself. The all-pervading awareness, Samantabhadra, however it appears, it is just like that. Like a vast river gathering and dispersing, unmixed, completely clear as one. In the palace of clear space, from the light of supreme awareness, awareness is self-illuminating, supremely certain. Signs and meanings meet, thus clearly explained. This is the most secret Dharma, without appearance, the supreme state of awareness. Transcending the realm of thought and analysis, without elaboration, not clinging to any characteristics. All phenomena of appearance and existence, are initially in a state of unbornness, in the middle transcending thought and analysis, and ultimately without their own characteristics. All three are in the state of unborn Dharmakaya. The functioning of objects and senses, and feelings, are clear separately without mixing. Self-arisen things, naturally appear within themselves. Perfect enjoyment, self-nature luminosity. Pervading all, able to accomplish all things. Immeasurable awareness, various appearances arise. Emanating from itself, accomplishing from itself. Self-arisen awareness, the Nirmanakaya (emanation body). All sentient beings, internal and external, whatever subtle or gross forms, appear as the play of the wondrous body. Wisdom light, the supreme body. All sounds, whether high or low, are the speech of clear and empty awareness itself. Whatever is said, transcends words, without any attachment. Unspeakable, immovable, is speech itself. Without an object, not allowing clinging to characteristics. Dharmakaya essence, the supreme speech. Signs meet, experience is clear and aware, certainty arises, doubts are cut. The meaning of signs, non-dual, appears in the speech of perfect enjoyment. Names are unmixed, able to accomplish things. Connected with meaning, universally clear. In accordance with everything, one's own signs meet. In the speech of the Nirmanakaya, self-nature manifests. The self-nature of unspeakable words, self-arisen pervades all and is clear. Wondrous self-illumination, the sound of understanding, appears as the speech of wisdom's play. Do not look at thoughts and concepts, do not contemplate liberation self-illumination. Characteristics Free from conceptual thought. Non-dual awareness, the supreme mind. Various self-illuminations, transforming into bliss, not being anything, clear in any place. Luminosity bliss.
