Since everything, internal and external, arises spontaneously, In order to attain self-liberation by oneself, There is no wavering from the state of equanimity. Since it does not abide in the realm of signs, Awareness without a realm abides in complete fullness. Since it is primordially non-dual, There is no differentiation within the state of bindu. In the conceptual thoughts and signs of sentient beings, The wisdom of the Buddhas abides in complete fullness. The power of non-dual awareness itself, Since there is no separation between samsara and nirvana, There is no straying from the meaning of equanimity. The power of samaya awareness itself, In the impartial view of equality, Phenomena and non-phenomena arise equally. The power of conceptual awareness itself, Buddhas and sentient beings are equal in the expanse. The relative and ultimate are equal in the expanse. Faults and virtues are equal in the expanse. High and low, directions and boundaries, are equal in the expanse. There is no wavering from the meaning of equanimity. The power of experiential awareness itself, Since it is primordially attained, there is no need to bestow it. At the time of arising, it arises equally, The power of awareness without good or bad. At the time of abiding, it abides equally, The power of awareness without good or bad. At the time of liberation, it is liberated equally, The power of awareness without good or bad. Since it is not deceived by the karma of afflictions, The activity awareness is the power of its own strength. Since it is primordially attained, there is no need to bestow it. Even if unequal, it arises in the expanse of equality, Equal and unequal arise without being separate. Even if unequal, it abides in the expanse of equality, Equal and unequal abide without being separate. Even if unequal, it is liberated in the expanse of equality, Equal and unequal are liberated without being separate. Self-arising, self-liberating, the power of awareness itself, The activity awareness is the power of its own strength. Since it is primordially attained, there is no need to bestow it. Arising and not arising are not in the expanse, Liberation and not liberation are not in the expanse. At the time of arising, it arises in itself, Self-arising, it holds itself in its own place. At the time of abiding, it abides in itself, Self-abiding, it holds itself in its own place. At the time of liberation, it is liberated in itself, Self-liberating, it holds itself in its own place. Arising abides, and abiding is liberated, Liberation arises, so there is no interruption. Since there is no interruption, there is no cause and effect, Since there is no cause and effect, there is no interval. In the nature of reality without interruption, The precipice of samsara cannot be cut off. Having abandoned the precipice, one does not take a body, Without a body, how could one fall into error? That which does not change in the three times, Is primordially the expanse of Samantabhadra. That which is primordially without birth and death, Is the very state of Vajrasattva. The transformation of awareness into self-liberation, Is called the empowerment of meaning.

It is said that in emptiness, it is called Buddha. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of Longchen Rabjampa, the thirty-sixth chapter, entitled "Showing the Chapter of Primordially Obtaining Empowerment." Then, the teacher again spoke to the retinue who were not different from his own nature: Bodhicitta has no good or bad, all dharmas are Thus Come Ones. Although not moving from the state of equality, the three forms of outer, inner, and secret, relying on the substances of the mandala, after empowering with the substances of empowerment, the great bliss bodhicitta arises, and does not turn back from the meaning of secret mantra. This is known as the outer empowerment. The inner empowerment that is shown is also transforming the ordinary body into a deity, and oneself obtains the deity's empowerment. When one clearly visualizes as the deity through meditation, the body that clings to self does not remain. Because the body has been transformed into the deity, it brings forth the meaning for the one who has empowerment. By the empowerment of the teacher, in the state of stable practice with awareness, it is said to be obtained. The actual basis of what is called empowerment is not somewhere else, but the wisdom of awareness resides within oneself. It does not become the slave of afflictions, because it exists within oneself, it is called empowerment. Because others cannot control it, it is called empowerment. Because one controls oneself, it is empowerment. The so-called secret empowerment is also obtained by the force of nature, just by clearly visualizing oneself as the deity, self-grasping naturally disappears, and wisdom freely completes the mandala. Self-awareness wisdom freely transforms, the inexhaustible treasure of qualities. To the wheel of body, speech, and mind, to transform freely is called empowerment. The reason for keeping it secret is the power of the ability that does not actually appear. All the Thus Come Ones also arise from oneself and cause to grow. To those of small mind and inferior vehicle, if that meaning is shown, there is danger of fear and laziness, therefore it is accomplished by keeping it secret, so it is shown as secret empowerment. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of Longchen Rabjampa, the thirty-seventh chapter, entitled "Showing the Chapter of the Differences of Empowerment." Then, the teacher, the Bhagavan, again spoke to the other retinue who were not different from himself: Bodhicitta is free from faults, all dharmas are training, there is training that does not need to be trained, and training that needs to be trained. Although bodhicitta has no faults,
