|| In the language of India: Mahā Āvarta Prasāraṇī Rājatantra Nāma. In Tibetan: Called "The Tantra of the King of Vast Expanse." Homage to the Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra! Thus, I heard myself: At one time, the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the Sugatas of the ten directions and three times were inseparable, residing in the nature that had not moved from a single bindu. In order to definitively establish the meaning of the one in the expanse of all equality, in that extraordinary realm, in a field inseparable from the basis of the three realms, the retinue appearing from inseparable self-nature, the Buddhas of the three times and the sentient beings of the three realms are not different, and the retinue of the mundane and supramundane are of one means, and inseparable from oneself and one's own nature, and emanations from one's own essence and nature, who continuously perform the benefit of beings, are praised with the lion's roar, the voice of meaning, and this meaning of the King of Vast Expanse of Mind is thoroughly explained. All phenomena, all categories of names, Are one in the expanse where there is no basis from the beginning. In the vast one, saṃsāra and nirvāṇa are inseparable, Since whatever arises through conditions is an adventitious phenomenon. Just as clouds in the sky and rainbows are appearances in the sky, Awareness arises in itself, in the state of the dharmadhātu. Self-awareness is unobstructed, flawless, and without limit. The precious jewel of wisdom is without conceptualization. From no-self-nature, anything appears. Everything is the expanse of bodhicitta. The maṇḍala of the Sugata Buddhas, And the phenomena of saṃsāra, which are controlled by ignorance and delusion and in which wrong thoughts greatly increase. All phenomena that appear Are one in Buddhahood, Mistakingly thinking of existence and nonexistence as two, And wrongly viewing good and bad as two. Holding to the extreme in the one equality, Self and other appear separately through conditions. Since the mind enters into the nonexistent as existent, Attachment increases, so it appears as a body. By the suffering of clinging to self, The meaning of abiding in oneself is not understood. In the true meaning, there is neither happiness nor suffering, Clinging to emptiness as a real thing. If examined

The very nature of things does not abide. In the meaning of non-existence, everything appears. In the expanse of self-awareness, there is neither emptiness nor substance. Knowing it as non-existent liberates from the path of samsara. This is the realization of the supreme accomplished one. The nature of oneness appears everywhere. The formless body pervades all. The body of the victorious one is established from the expanse. Everything is gathered in the one expanse. Without action, it arises everywhere. Without substance, everything appears. The various appearances are the realm of dharma. Its nature is without essence. The uninterrupted mind of enlightenment, Is without characteristics, separate from directions. All is naturally incomparable dharma. Whoever grasps onto that, Looking at it from a biased viewpoint is a confused mind. The intellect that slanders the true meaning. The snare of grasping is the fetter of bondage. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the King of Vast Expanse, The first chapter, the chapter on the basis of the continent. Then again, the Bhagavan spoke: "Whoever wishes to dry up this great ocean of samsara, Should look within at the essence of dharma. In order for everything, internal and external, to be just as it is, Self and other are not two. Body, speech, and mind are one within oneself. A dharma to be done apart from oneself, Not even a fraction of a hair exists. Though all phenomena are countless, They are just as they are, without an object of focus. With an intellect that understands it as like an illusion, The senses leak into their objects. Not carrying happiness to its place, Suffering arises from seeing existence in the one meaning that is determined as non-existence. However it arises, it is the expanse of dharmata. Self-arisen, self-nature, in the state of space. The emanations of means and compassion, Of the transcendent and the mundane, Are also the magic of the wisdom expanse. The essence of dharma is the power of oneself. The three lower realms and the Buddhas, Do not abide entirely as separate and distinct. It is examined in that way by self-grasping. Knowing it in that way is the supreme of understanding. Buddhas are not to be sought from elsewhere. In the dharmata that is primordially enlightened, What benefit is there in training one's own continuum? What accomplishment is there in abandoning and adopting? The aggregates, elements, and sense bases also, The Buddha-fields and the qualities of dharma, Are the expanse of inseparable, primordially equal. The six classes of beings, the four modes of birth, Primordially have entered the path of enlightenment. Apart from the realm of dharma, There is no separate activity of sentient beings."
