Freed from the limits of examining the earth, Transcending conceptual analysis is the power of ability, The expanse of mind is the power of that. Not departing from it is play, Not changing from it is conduct, Abiding in the same essence, Abiding in the same entity, Manifesting different characteristics, Impartially arising qualities, Emanating various transformations, However the vision of knowledge may appear, Without birth or cessation is its power. The great expanse, unattached, is the skill of self. The great expanse of the unborn Dharmakaya, By pervading all of samsara and nirvana, Acting without inherent existence, Dwelling without attachment, Because it does not stray from the meaning of Dharma, Therefore, it abides in equal intention. The great expanse of the undying Sambhogakaya, Because it does not grasp the two extremes as objects, Therefore, it cuts through the obscurations of the Mahayana, Clearly without inside or outside, Increasing uncontaminated virtue, Showing the path of the four births, Blocking whatever gate of the path, In order to deliver to the place of arising and absorption, Therefore, the characteristics are without obscuration. The unlocalized, unfixed Nirmanakaya, Lifting the six realms upwards, Showing contaminated virtue, Performing the actions of benefiting beings, Knowing the thoughts of those to be tamed, The union of skillful means and compassion, In order to know who should be tamed by what, The special mantra is the great one. The three kayas are the skill of that expanse of mind, Incompatible antidotes do not exist there. The sole, supreme, great one is the Dharmakaya. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the King of Vast Expanse, the chapter on showing the three kayas in oneself, the twenty-sixth. Then again, the Bhagavan, the King of Teachers, spoke profound meaning to the assembly. The expanse of the completely pure Dharmadhatu, Vast and great, all liberated, Yet not knowing self-nature, in play, With clinging thoughts strengthened by conceptualization, The six realms of beings fall into the straits of suffering, Seeing birth and death in what is without birth and death, The suffering of the temporary state is inconceivable. Seeing what is not as existent is delusion, By the six aggregates reaching the essential point, Binding that dangerous strait of suffering, Closing the door of the four births, Liberated in the expanse without birth or cessation, Primordially liberated, never ceasing. Increasing conceptualization beyond that, Relying on the antidote of non-conceptualization, Holding to a direction on the path, falling into danger, Striving laboriously for the meaning of non-existence.

To falsely accuse the meaning of cause and effect, The three doors of body, speech, and mind are bound by effort. Seeking externally is a mistaken path, Those who have reached the essence of philosophical tenets, Having closed the narrow path of bias, Blocking the entrance to the path of error, Are liberated in the expanse of no arising and ceasing. Primordially liberated, the continuity is never broken. For the nature of reality, which is without arising and ceasing, It is seen as a dharma that changes and decays. Seeking the meaning of no birth and death, Entering the narrow path of Ati instructions. Clinging to subtle meanings, Experiential understanding arises as an enemy, Great self-liberation is bound by knots. Those who have reached the essence of the nature of reality, Having closed the narrow path of instructions, Blocking the door of good thoughts and assumptions, Are liberated in the expanse of no arising and ceasing. Primordially liberated, the continuity is never broken. With the three kayas constantly unceasing, The clinging to the extreme of cessation is self-liberated. Self-liberated, unfabricated, is the expanse of dharma. Though countless Buddhas have passed, They awakened to enlightenment in that unborn state. Though countless Buddhas have not yet come, They are primordially enlightened without ceasing. Though countless Buddhas are present now, They dwell in the expanse of no arising and ceasing. The qualities of that are inconceivable. Unbiased wisdom arises from itself, Unbiased emanations spread from itself. From the expanse, self-arising is greatly wondrous. Is there a need for desires from precious jewels? Like the expanse of the sky and magical displays, Self-arising, self-pacifying, dissolves into the expanse. In the expanse, there is no loss or separation, And sentient beings dwelling in the three realms, And the Buddhas abiding in the three times, Are also in that nature without loss or separation. Without gathering or scattering, they dwell there. Because there is no increase or decrease in it, All sentient beings dwelling in the three realms, In the measure of a moment, Even if they all become Buddhas at once, There is no increase in it. Sentient beings do not decrease, Because cause, condition, and result are one taste, It remains without subtraction, addition, increase, or decrease. That which is labeled as cause, condition, and result, Is also a sudden dharma without a basis, Therefore, there is no alaya and no obscuration. Because there is no abiding of habitual tendencies in the expanse, Because there is no basis to be established, Offering to the Sugata Victors, And killing sentient beings of the three realms, And the dharmas of virtue, non-virtue, and neutrality, Because there is no trace on black and white karma, It becomes self-liberated like the path of a bird. That too is the self-nature dharma of the expanse, The expanse is without end or limit.
