Since nature is without change, Holding to emptiness is the speech of fools. If holding to things, one has wrong desire. There is no seer or seen. Liberated in the expanse of non-duality and equality. If there is a seer in equality itself, Non-equality, having been abandoned, is a wrong thought. That too is a mind deluded by dualistic appearances. Since there is no obstruction to anything, and no partiality, One is liberated from the extremes of equality and non-equality. By the grasping and fixation of self-awareness's delusion, To engage in partiality and extremes Is not to be attained, hope is cut off, One transcends all fields of searching. There is no appearance in the realm of thought. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Great Vast King Longchen Rabjam, The fourteenth chapter, which teaches the meaning of equality, is complete. Then again, the Bhagavan spoke to the assembly about the meaning of the unerring intention. In the great expanse of the bliss of enlightenment, Having examined with wrong thoughts and delusions, Understanding the meaning of cause and effect Does not save one in the true place. Like a wrong path from the path of seeing, Because one does not know one's own appearances, One also obscures that which has no cause or condition. For that which has no movement in its nature, Thus abiding in that suchness, However it abides, one's own mind Has not even a particle of appearance as other. Other than oneself, in another place, There is nothing at all to be sought. The mind of emptiness and the sign of characteristics, Since the times are always inseparable, Thus, since it abides in that suchness, However it abides, the mind of enlightenment Has no place to be established apart from emptiness. On the meaning of non-dual awareness, The thought of having practiced or not practiced, Practice does not avert the realm of characteristics. That very nature is established as the ground, What do the Buddhas accomplish? On that which has no object of focus, What do sentient beings do to accept or reject? Not clinging to the taste of samadhi, Not arising from the place of attachment and aversion, This arises from understanding its nature. In the non-duality of Buddha and sentient beings, Not distinguishing samsara and nirvana, good and bad, This arises naturally or spontaneously. Although not traversing the grounds and paths, Since it does not move from suchness, Whatever is done arises from the absence of defilements. Not appearing in any way, not focusing, Not seeing anything, not meditating on anything, It is clear by looking at the definitive meaning. The ultimate conclusion of the Buddhas Is this very meaning of no birth and death. This is the great path of all the Victorious Ones. Other than this, the intention is:
