Since it is unwavering in meaning, By placing one-pointedly, one reaches Buddhahood. Since there is no going, it is inherently Buddha. Therefore, since it is without movement, It abides in the nature of the Buddha-ground. The terms "moving" and "unmoving" Are merely labels for indication. It transcends expression of its own essence. Extremely deep, difficult to fathom, Vast and profound, like the expanse of the sky. In the expanse of the sky, there is no inside or outside. Self-luminous awareness has no inside or outside. Since there is no substantial entity, For example, the great element of space, One cannot say "exists" or "does not exist." In the nature of reality, free from imputation, It is free from the sickness of good and bad. As before, the nature of mind is like space. Searching for the extremes of existence and non-existence, It is free from the object of focus. Since there is no object, there is no focus. Not searching, leave it in the expanse of its own nature. Free from activity, dissolve into the state of the sphere of reality. There is no term for placing or not placing. Without thinking or examining, in its own way, Whatever thoughts arise, they are not stopped. It is the way of placing without placing. Since there is no going or coming without placing, Since awareness has seized its own ground, It is the way of meditating without meditating. Not consumed by doubt or hesitation, It is the way of correcting without correcting. Since it meets with the mother of reality, It has arrived at the unchanging essential point. Inconceivable appearances appear in it. Since what appears there is not seen elsewhere, Qualities are perfected in oneself. There is nothing else apart from that. Not looking at the meaning of non-existence, There is no duality of looking and not looking. Liberating in its own place, the expanse of reality, Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Longchen Rabjampa, The Thirteenth Chapter: Showing the Rootlessness of the Mind of Enlightenment. Furthermore, the meaning of the Blessed One's intention, spoken without error: Not focusing, not seeking, suchness itself, If it does not change from that, The fault of grasping and attachment does not stain it. In one's own sacred wisdom, Since there is no object to fixate upon, The mind of desire and aversion does not arise. Since it is free from the object of thought, There is no meditation or non-meditation. There is no deviation from the sphere of realization. Since phenomena and reality are one taste, There is no separation of acceptance and rejection. Not following after illusion, In meditating on the with-signs and without-signs, Since there is no object to focus on, There is no separation of realization and non-realization. Since there is nothing to accept willingly,

Since there is no place to abandon, Do not completely fall into the laziness of equanimity. Even desire, hatred, and ignorance, Because they are the adornment of great bliss, There is no need to cut off attachment and aversion from the root. Liberation and non-liberation lie in the mind, Because it is the conceptualization of grasping. Without the grasped and the grasper, there is no bondage or liberation. Grasping is the enemy, liberation is great. If liberation is through liberation, it is self-nature, Therefore, even the unliberated should be able to liberate. The difference of dualistic conceptualization, Arises from the power of one's own manifestation. Because liberation is through realization, Therefore, even the unrealized should be able to liberate. Because they are the same in one's own manifestation, There is no bondage or liberation in the Bodhicitta. In the Dharma-nature of equality of bondage and liberation, There is originally no realization or non-realization. Considering equality as the enemy, conceptualization is great, Because non-realization is seen as a fault. Impartial equality is lost from meaning. Even if practiced, for the practitioner of equality, Not practicing and abiding is the mind of realization. Whatever appears in the expanse, Good thoughts and bad thoughts are the same in direction. Adjusting the body, adjusting the mind, is the basis of experience. Adjusting equality itself, Is like adjusting the sky with a craftsman. Dualistic grasping is a great enemy. Even the view and meditation of the eight stages, After striving, one desires to become a Buddha. The intention of the Buddha lies in equality, Because non-discriminating conceptualization stands as the enemy, Equality therefore falls into extremes. If one does the deed of killing the enemy, All Dharmas that combine good and bad, All gather in great equality, After determining the key point in the expanse of self-awareness, Recognizing the meaning of non-arising, There is no attachment or aversion to enemy and friend. Everything is unified in the Bodhicitta. Enemy and honey are the same, gold and stone are the same, No matter where you measure, it is equal, It does not waver from the meaning of equality. Because it does not waver from the meaning of equality, Therefore, there is no good or bad there, Everything is Buddha, there is no non-Buddha. If non-arising and non-ceasing are one, Even if different appearances arise, they are unborn, Therefore, in the expanse of non-arising, there is no separation. Because the great expanse, the one, is all, Everything appears as the essence of everything. Because no partiality is abandoned, It appears everywhere impartially. Because it is transparent, it appears everywhere. The boundless Dharma-realm, Self-born wisdom has no limit. Because the self-nature is one and boundless, The Bodhicitta has no limit. Because it is not limited to the side of non-existence, Therefore, one should view it as emptiness.
