Thus. Because of being bound by firm clinging, one is completely separated from all clinging to the nature of reality. The mind with deluded partial views arises in the impartial play. Clinging to extremes is the demon of bondage. If one clings to existence, one falls into the extreme of permanence; if one clings to non-existence, one falls into the extreme of annihilation. The mind clinging to the two extremes of permanence and annihilation is a deviation from the essence of enlightenment. What must be definitively established is that all phenomena of appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, are spontaneously accomplished without abandoning the ground, therefore they are definitively established in impartiality. Because the essence has no fixed nature, self-arisen wisdom is definitively established. Because the self is devoid of beginning and end, there is no beginning or end before and after, and there is no birth, death, or change. Because it is definitively established as such, it is victorious over all inferior vehicles. Ati is the reasoning of liberation. The teaching of the meaning of that reasoning also depends on the words of the Buddhas, therefore, through blessing and lineage, the profound oral transmission, the definitive scripture, is established as the meaning of Ati Yoga. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Great Vast King, the chapter on the prophecy of being definitively unsurpassed, the forty-second. Then, again, the Bhagavan spoke to the retinue other than himself: Emaho! The vast Dharma of the Great Vehicle, which encompasses all and liberates all, is most wondrous. Appearance arises and the nature of reality is seen. What was not seen before, I have now seen. Suffering arises and great bliss is seen. Bliss and suffering are non-dual, and the unchanging, single certainty arises as appearance. What was not seen before, I have now seen. Sentient beings arise and Buddhas are seen. Buddhas and sentient beings are non-dual, and the unchanging nature of reality arises as appearance. Samsara arises and nirvana is seen. Samsara and nirvana are non-dual, and the unchanging nature of reality arises as appearance. What was not seen before, I have now seen. Phenomena arise and the nature of reality is seen. Afflictions arise and wisdom is seen. Afflictions and wisdom are non-dual, and the unchanging nature of reality arises as appearance. Thus, and so forth, summarized by duality, everything, all without exception, is the arising of the nature of reality as appearance. By opening the door of the body of sentient beings, the expanse of the body of the Buddha is penetrated, and Buddhas and sentient beings are non-dual. By opening the door of the appearance of objects, the expanse of the space of emptiness is penetrated, and appearance and emptiness are non-dual. The door of the characteristics of suffering

When the door is opened, the expanse of great bliss is penetrated, there is no duality between bliss and suffering. When the door of phenomenal characteristics is opened, the expanse of impartial dharmata is penetrated, there is no duality between phenomena and dharmata. When the door of afflictive emotions' characteristics is opened, the expanse of self-arisen wisdom is penetrated, there is no duality between afflictions and wisdom. All such phenomena, being non-dual and unchanging, arise in one's own appearance. Dharmata is non-dual. All such phenomena are liberated in their own nature, without separation. Although the two, cause and effect, are not blocked, one has transcended the two, cause and effect. Although the two, samsara and nirvana, are not blocked, one is liberated from the two, samsara and nirvana. How is it liberated? Sentient beings appear as real, the unreal Buddha is established. Even as a Buddha, sentient beings are primary. Settling in the non-dual space, liberation in one's own place increases confidence. Appearance is more important than emptiness. Through the unfixated self-arising of appearance, the non-grasping of emptiness is established. Settling in the non-dual space, liberation in one's own place increases confidence. Suffering is more important than great bliss. Through the characteristics of attachment to suffering, the non-attachment of great bliss is established. Having received the instructions, having gained confidence, having settled on non-duality, liberation in one's own place increases confidence. Phenomena are more important than dharmata. Through the self-continuum of phenomenal characteristics, the unborn nature of dharmata is established. Phenomena and dharmata are inseparable, settling in the non-dual space, liberation in one's own place increases confidence. Afflictions are more important than wisdom. Through the binding noose of afflictions, self-arisen wisdom is established. Afflictions and wisdom are inseparable, settling in the non-dual space, liberation in one's own place increases confidence. All such phenomena are inseparable at all times, settling in the non-dual space, liberation in one's own place increases confidence. Thus, having settled with confidence, the experience of realization brings peace of mind. Because there is nowhere to go from the expanse, by abandoning the aggregates, one is liberated into the expanse. Because there is nowhere to change from the space, one is not afraid of the phenomena of characteristics. All, all are liberated into the expanse. Sentient beings and Buddhas are liberated into the expanse. The uninterrupted emanation body is in the expanse of appearance and emptiness.
