Ah! Realm and arising time, birthplaces, and dharmas, Even the subtle and coarse appearances of the three realms, Arise from oneself, the expanse of oneself, Manifest from oneself, the ornament of oneself. All phenomena that are seen, heard, and renowned, And all phenomena that appear as non-existent and are examined, Since they are not different from oneself, Are primordially clear as non-dual.

All phenomena arise within oneself. The Dharma encompassed by the paths of samsara and nirvana, arises from oneself and merges into oneself. Liberated in its own place, it has no basis. Without designation, it is free from self and other. Without object and mind, it is the expanse of equality. Buddha is oneself, there is no other, so all merge into the Dharmakaya of oneself. One in the bindu free from self and other. What is called Buddha, Buddha, is merely a name temporarily given. Without attachment to temporary phenomena, do not fixate on Buddha in your mind. All designations are conceptualizations, and since conceptualization is the nature of reality, just as there is no darkness in the center of the sun, there is no ignorance in the expanse of wisdom. In the expanse of Dharmakaya, there is no conceptualization. There is no duality of thought and non-thought, and since it does not move from the state of equality, there is no duality of ignorance and wisdom. Even the phenomena created by oneself, since there is no creator elsewhere, appear spontaneously without action. Since one makes oneself, arises from oneself, and is self-born, it is without cause and condition and is a designation. In the nature of reality without cause and condition, oneself is called Bodhicitta. What arises as its play, is called the phenomena created by oneself. That in which all merge into oneself, oneself is called Bodhicitta. There is no duality of agent and action, and since all are the magical displays of oneself, self-born wisdom is continuous and uninterrupted. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of Longchen Rabjampa, the King, the twenty-ninth chapter, "Uninterrupted." Then the Teacher spoke again: From the nature like the sky, the rainbow and clouds are sudden. Without cause or condition, like the sky, the nature of reality, free from action, is the sky. The play of samsara and nirvana is sudden, without cause or condition, like the nature of reality. Rising from oneself like a hill, self-born from oneself like a thunderbolt falling. However it arises, it is the realm of what is to be known, and since there is nothing beyond that, all phenomena of existence, seeing, appearance, and sound, are the magical displays of the expanse of reality. Playing with oneself in oneself, enjoying oneself in oneself, being happy with oneself in oneself, suffering with oneself in oneself, playing equally, there is no good or bad. When existence and non-existence arise equally, grasping at one side is straying from the meaning. Abide comfortably in the expanse of equality. Settle into the expanse without effort. Without entering or returning, remain in your own place. Without going or coming, rest in the sphere. Without doing or acting, be free from effort.

It is without change, therefore it is free from extremes. It is without bondage and liberation, therefore it is free from attachment. It is without hope and doubt, therefore it is equal to the extremes. It is without abandonment and equanimity, therefore it does not fall into extremes. What is called "space" is meditation. If names are given, the numbers are confused. That awareness without interruption, because there is no coming and going before and after, therefore it cannot be counted. Because there is no limit and partiality, therefore it cannot be counted. Because there is no center, direction, or boundary, therefore it cannot be counted. Because there is no up, down, high, or low, therefore it cannot be counted. Because there is no inside or outside, and because all are gathered into one, therefore it cannot be counted. That awareness without interruption, because it dwells easily in itself, there is no distraction and non-distraction, there is no object and non-object, there is no clarity and non-clarity, there is no appearance and non-appearance, there is no searching and non-searching, there is no seeing and non-seeing, there is no meditation and non-meditation Therefore there is not. Because there is no gathering and scattering in an instant, great meditation dwells in bliss. Because it is vast in the space of great bliss, space vastness is the meditation of the Dharmakaya. Whatever appears does not move from it, therefore the expansion of appearance is meditation. Because the place to put experience is not sought, the equality of object and mind is meditation. Because there is no rotation of abandonment and equanimity, there is no increase or decrease, which is meditation. Because it transcends all periods, there is uninterrupted meditation. Because afflictions are exhausted at the point of exhaustion, it is the ultimate meaning of meditation. Because it dissolves into the space of great bliss, there is immutable meditation. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of Longchen Rabjam, the thirtieth chapter, Explanation of Meditation. Then the Teacher himself again spoke to the assembly: The great Dharma of no self-nature, wonderful and inconceivable, is like this: From the gate of no birth, the miracle of birth arises. The miracle that arises from the unborn, that arises from its own nature, the unborn is its own nature, not another. From the gate of no birth, the miracle is born from its own nature. The miracle of birth arises, the unborn is its own nature, not another. From the secret gate of no birth, the unborn is born in the four birth places, as soon as it is born, it is born.
