It is also not accommodated in the city. Since it is liberated in the unborn realm, it is the great path of beings, the realm of space. Since it is practiced in the state of space, it arises without obstruction. Self-born, self-peaceful, without arising or ceasing. Since it is decisive, there is no entering or returning. Then, from what cause and condition does this appearance arise? Since it is self-born, it is free from cause and condition. Just as space does not transform into objects, on the consciousness without birth and death, there is no opportunity to destroy it with characteristics. All the phenomena that appear in this way, from the essence of not being anything, since everything arises spontaneously, there is no slander of permanence or annihilation. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of Longchen Rabjam, the secret chapter on ending extremes, which is the twenty-fifth chapter. Then again, the Bhagavan, the king of teachers, spoke the true meaning. Whatever is transformed or not transformed, all that is designated as dharma, why and by whom is it designated? Who is the craftsman of designation? Where does the basis of designation exist? Upon whom do the place and abode depend? If it is transformed from something, it is transformed from itself. What is not transformed is also itself, for the sake of knowing oneself. One's self gives a name to oneself. The craftsman of designation is oneself. It is designated upon the meaning of having no basis for designation. Because of one's own attachment, by relying on it with power, various characteristics greatly increase, so the nameless girl gets a name. The placeless is named place. The homeless is named abode. On the oneness of place and abode, differences of karma and habit arise. Each is named cause and effect. Because attachment to the cause increases, the effect becomes the object of characteristics. It deviates from the meaning of having no cause and effect. The nature of cause and effect being one, since the cause itself is the self-appearance of the effect, there is no attachment to the cause, and since the effect is perfected there without attachment, even though it depends on the object, it is not needed, it is separated from the object sought in the abode. The reason for the method and what arises from the method, the direct result, since it arises from the method, is not self-born. The self-born does not depend on the method, nor does it depend on the power of wisdom. On the nature that has no transformation, the untransformed result abides. Wisdom cannot examine it. Since it is not an object of knowledge, since there is no ignorance and no unknowing, ignorance and the Dharmakaya, are different in name.

Ultimately one. Sentient beings arising from karma, Are labeled as ignorance. Those accomplished from pure wisdom, Are labeled as Dharmakaya by the Victorious Ones. Karma and compassion are not separate, Ignorance and Dharmakaya are of one nature. Buddha and sentient beings are one in meaning. Becoming the cause and becoming the condition, Becoming the result and the power of antidote, Measured by karma and measured by realization, Measured by name and measured by power. Sentient beings are measured by karma, Practitioners are measured by awareness, Buddhas are measured by name. Wherever measured, it is in conceptualization, Wherever examined, it is the mind of grasping. The nature of reality, free from conceptualization and examination, Abides equally like the expanse of space. Just as that space has no end, The nature of reality transcends the realm of conceptualization. Just as that space has no center, The nature of reality is liberated from the limits of examination. Being free from conceptualization and examination is the power of ability, It is the power of that mind-space. Without straying from it, playing, Without changing it, acting, Abiding in one's own nature, Abiding in one essence, Various characteristics arise, Various qualities arise without bias, Various emanations are scattered, Various ways of seeing wisdom appear, Yet being without birth and death is its power, The vast, unobstructed, self-existing potential. The vastness of the unborn Dharmakaya, By pervading all of samsara and nirvana, Acting without inherent existence, Abiding without attachment, Because the nature of reality does not stray from meaning, The intention abides equally. The vastness of the undying Sambhogakaya, Not grasping the two extremes as objects, Cutting through the obscurations of the Great Vehicle, Being clear without inside or outside, Increasing uncontaminated virtue, Showing the path of the four births, Whatever path-door is blocked, For the sake of delivering to the place of arising and dissolving, There is no obscuration of characteristics. The unlocalized, unfixed Nirmanakaya, Leading the six realms upwards, Showing contaminated virtue, Accomplishing the welfare of beings, Knowing the thoughts of those to be tamed, With the union of skillful means and compassion, For the sake of knowing what to tame and who to tame, With the greatness of the extraordinary mantra, The three bodies are the play of that mind-space, There is no dissimilar antidote to it, The sole great supreme Dharmakaya. Thus it is said. Vast and boundless.
