This is the twelfth chapter, the Chapter on Self-Completion. Then, the Bhagavan again spoke this unfabricated intention: The Dharmadhatu has no beginning or end; by naming, there is beginning and end. The Dharmadhatu has no self or other; by dividing into realms, there is self and other. The Dharmadhatu has no object; by assigning other names, there is object and place. The Dharmadhatu is not to be sought; from the meaning of not being sought, the self-nature abides as suchness. In this, nothing can be fabricated; in the unfabricated space, it abides equally. It is the palace of all Sugatas, the great path of Nirvana. From the Dharmadhatu, various appearances arise; there is not even a particle of movement to another place. The play of unmoved means is also, because of being all-pervasive, the realm of equality. From the expanse of mind, there is no movement; because there is no basis for initial birth, the Bodhicitta has no root. In the absence of a place of origin for Samsara and Nirvana, it arises from the ground as self-born. There is no place to abide in the middle; everything abides in the expanse of awareness. There is no place to go in the end; everything goes in the nature of the expanse. In this, there is nothing to purify in one's own continuum; even if one seeks elsewhere, one will not find the Dharma. Without coming or going is the expanse of intention; abiding in that is the nature of thought. All the phenomena of the three realms of Samsara are originally Buddhas, but cannot be transformed by temporary conditions. The state of becoming a Buddha and the place of hell, in a place where there is no distinction, because of the oneness of Bodhicitta, there is no division into two. In the place where everything abides equally, because there is no bias, it is the realm of bliss. Even the precipice of the six realms of Samsara, because it abides in oneself, examine it in oneself. Sentient beings do not exist separately; the knowable, one's own Dharma nature, descends. In that, there is no cause for arising attachment and aversion; objects do not abide in any way in the realm. Because there are no objects, there is no large or small; because of discrimination, there is no seeing in the realm. The intention of the Victorious Ones also is joined to the realm of equality. From the realm of equality, everything arises, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, a treasure of precious qualities. No one creates, subtracts, or adds to it; there is no increase or decrease, and no change. Because it is free from grasping existence or non-existence, it is originally an indivisible, transparent expanse. Everything is self-born and self-arisen, greatly indeterminate and free from extremes. In this, there is no meditation to be sought.

Extinguishing the feelings of pleasure and pain, in the immovability of self-nature, one sees the vast expanse of space. All arises from the unborn Dharmadhatu, the miracle of birth is the adornment of the unborn. Although appearing as such, it does not waver from Suchness, although appearing as a playful dance of arising, it is unborn because there is no change, and it is the realm of Vajra because there is no destruction or separation. In any case, it is indestructible, without aggregation or separation. Because the Dharmadhatu has no aggregation or separation, there is no inside or outside, therefore no east or west. Because there is no entity, there is no samsara or nirvana, because there is no cause and effect, there is no good or evil. These are the laws of good and evil names, because they are sudden, they have no meaning. Cause and effect are inseparable, the great Bindu, the Bodhicitta without root. All is the adornment of the self-mind awareness, the one true path, the supreme of bliss. On the path of great bliss there is no entering or exiting, in the Dharmadhatu, the appearance of Dharmadhatu is the power of awareness. Non-conceptual meditation is good conceptualization, there is no difference from conceptual thought, both are equal without good or bad. That is also the power of awareness itself, in that there is meditation and non-meditation, as such there is no law of duality, the non-dual self-liberation primordial realm, the three realms of existence and peace without remainder, is the true nature of mind, therefore liberated in the realm of Bodhicitta. Naturally abiding in the realm of equality. Thus, all things that appear are not gross matter, but the play of Bodhicitta. Mind is self-luminous and unborn, transcending the boundaries of object and subject. The unborn Dharmadhatu has no end, the space Dharmadhatu has no limit, there is no place to exert on the object of grasping and clinging. Because it is beyond the unborn Dharmadhatu, it is beyond thought, therefore the clarity of no object. The laws of direction, time, place, and senses are spontaneously equal in the realm of accomplishment. In one Bindu there is no division, in the nature of one great realm, although countless small realms appear, there is no distinction because all are perfect. Therefore, for all sentient beings, the great path is the realm of Bodhicitta. In the vast realm of Bodhicitta, although the place to be established is not established, there is no obstruction to the things to be established, therefore it is called Dharmadhatu because it appears as established. Because it is established on the baseless Dharma, how can there be an end to it? Like space, like a treasure of jewels, by the power of its own nature, although all appears, it has no self-nature. There is no object and no place
